History
Established in 2010.
It all started with a passion for interesting and not-so traditional burgers and was fueled by a lot of bourbon-infused brainstorming sessions. So we thought, «Why not just put the 2 together and see what happens?» And so we did.
In early 2010, the opportunity to inhabit one of the coolest buildings in Chattanooga was put in front of us, the Southern Railway Baggage Building circa 1867, we absolutely could not pass it up.
With the menu complete, and an unbelievably charming and nostalgic building to design a restaurant in, we were trying to think of how we could do this space the justice that it deserved. So, we decided to go for LEED Certification and try to build one of the most environmentally friendly businesses in one of the oldest buildings in the city. Our contractor The Strauss Company, architect Blythe Bailey from River Street Architecture, and friend over at green|spaces helped us realize our dream.
