History

Established in 2010.

Originally founded in Las Vegas, Nevada, The Ancestor Detector was presented with the award «Best Booth for a Small Business» at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo in 2011. In the Spring of 2014, the company was relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee, an area rich in history and genealogical resources.

Jessica D.

Business Owner

Jessica D., the owner and founder of The Ancestor Detector, is a professional genealogist providing professional ancestry research services. She is a member of numerous hereditary organizations and genealogical societies, including the Association of Professional Genealogists and the National Genealogical Society. Her research has been acknowledged by the National Association of Professional Women and Stanford Who’s Who. She travels throughout the United States often to conduct research and also travels to the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, several times a year. Jessica regularly attends national and regional genealogy conferences and has exhibited at a number of expos. In the Spring of 2014, Jessica relocated The Ancestor Detector’s headquarters to Chattanooga, Tennessee, an area rich in history and genealogical resources.
