Overview: I went in, got checked in, got the service I needed, walked out satisfied. Be prepared for the overall transaction to take around 30 – 45 minutes(20 or so wait time and 15 – 20 service time) — do NOT come on an hour lunch break unless you want to be stressed out(trust me) HOWEVER they are open until 8 so. Detailed Story: My phone had been iPhone 6+ had been lagging and the lighting was flickering for a day or two. So, as usually instructed, I tried turning it off then back on. Only this time, it wouldn’t turn back on even after charging it for several hours. The following day(Nov. 19) I took it to AT&T and they said that there was nothing they could do and told me to call apple, who directed me to this place since I am a student at UTC — this being the closest location. When you get here, be prepared to wait. The«queuing» system they have is nice but with limited staff and high demand of people it is quite hard to get in here rather timely. Waited around 15 – 20 minutes until they called my name and got me situated. I did have to turn my phone into them for them to ship to Apple Technicians to fix or whatever they did. They provided me with a loaner phone. I did have to come pick it up later on that same evening as they had to switch my service over to it and they were already slammed when I got there(roughly 8 other people waiting with 3 customers at front counters with only about 4 cashiers/techs on hand). * Simply Mac, you might want to look into hiring more techs or scheduling more on busier days * About 5 days later(that following Tuesday) I received a call saying my phone had been fixed and was ready for pickup, but i was home for Thanksgiving break and wouldn’t be in until Saturday. They were perfectly okay with that and told me to come in when I got back in town. I showed up, but forgot my print off slip they told me to bring. However I did have an emailed version of it so that helped and they were able to get my phone no problem. Again there was a wait; however, it being the day after Black Friday I should have known better. I am overall happy with the experience, yet there were some areas that could have been improved. Areas of improvement: — queuing system and overall wait time Pros: — communication(I was emailed a copy of all transaction reports and they called whenever my phone was ready) Joshua was the tech that processed my phone and initial contact. I don’t remember her name but she was average height with dark brown-blond hair and wore glasses. She helped on the pickup of my phone and kept me updated on when it was ready. Thanks you guys!

Poor customer service. If you’re south of Chattanooga, drive to Atlanta. Took HOURS, and two trips, to simply swap out a phone for an obvious mfg defect. We weren’t the only ones upset the day we were there. Get some staff!!! We did eventually get what was owed to us, but wow, what a long and unnecessarily hard process.

Went in there go have a screen protector applied. A young lady with short dark hair was super helpful and did a great job. I’m very happy. I was also ready to buy an iPad but they have little in stock.

I dropped my phone in a heinous rainstorm and it started flashing the«lights of death». It turned off and I took it to Simply Mac the next day and explained what happened. A man helping me ran a diagnostic and said the phone was too water damaged and needed to be replaced. He didn’t bother trying to turn it on or anything though. I tried turning it on after that figuring I had nothing to lose, and it came on with no issue and it has been working perfectly ever since. I didn’t lose any photos or other stored data and it performs like nothing ever happened. They did agree to sell me a new phone for $ 299 which was considerably less the phone retails for, so that was nice. But I am still baffled at how quickly they arrived at the resolution to completely replace the phone without trying any other methods. All it needed was to be turned back on.

Full service Mac store for laptops, IMac, iPhone. You name it. If it’s Apple you are seeking I would definitely go here before Best Buy. There is much more support here for Apple unique products. Prices are about the same.

They have some really high end lap tops and computers here. They are all Macintosh and apple. It’s completely different than windows. The prices are around $ 1000 to $ 1100. The person who waited on me was Jennifer and she was the best sales person I have ever seen and was very knowledgeable. You can without a doubt ask her questions and she will know an answer

Great service! I’ve owned Apple products for several years, and in the past I’ve had several experiences with getting repairs completed by Geniuses at the Apple Store. Normally I would go to the one in Knoxville. Well recently I needed my iMac repaired under AppleCare warranty. I called Apple and they said I could get it repaired at the MacAuthority since it was much closer to where I live. I was skeptical, but I thought I’d give it a shot. I am so glad that I did. They ended up replacing the display and the hard-drive, all covered by AppleCare. The repair was quick. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The icing on the cake: they transferred all of my data from the old hard-drive to the new completely gratis. That alone save about 5 hours of restoring data. I will certainly use this store again. In fact I will use them over the Apple Store when possible. They are that good.

The staff there was awesome and they found me the cheapest discount that could be found on a Mac. I search for ever and Mac Authority really helped me out.

Easy to find in the Hamilton Place Mall(there at the same entrance as Red Robin Restaurant) they are partnered with Apple but not able to access Apple system so if you need that, like I did, forgetaboutit. The first guy, john, who helped was quite knowledgable and helpful, however when I returned, to pick up my mac, no one was helping me while I waited and 4 employees standing around ignoring me, where is the ‘pretty woman’ suck up to me attitude when you want it? But I would go back again if I lived in the area.
