This little place is so friendly and fun to come to. We have tried the gelato, fruit sherbets, breakfast sandwiches and coffees-they are all excellent. So happy to have a place like this in Chattanooga!

Stopped in for gelato on a Monday afternoon. Very pleased with the selection, ability to sample, and the taste! I was able to mix three different flavors in one order, which was a nice perk. Got a black coffee to enjoy with the gelato as well. I gave them 4 stars because I only had the option of ordering a small coffee(12 oz) or a large(20 oz), and they serve the gelato in a plastic cup but don’t have recycling. Overall, definitely worth stopping in :) Hope this helps.

What a wonderful craft restaurant with a great menu, variety of coffee and tea drinks and friendly staff. This is definitely a go-to place in Chattanooga.

After spending two nights at Cloudland Canyon in a Pioneer Camp, we were ready for some actual food. Granted, we ate just fine with our soup, pb&js, and s’mores… but there’s something to be said about sitting down with your friends and enjoying a meal, especially after bonding in near-freezing temperatures. We departed our camping site around noon on Sunday in December, and arrived here about 30 – 45 minutes later, ready to chow down. I read some reviews about the place, but wasn’t expecting such a quaint, hip location. It was more like a coffee place that happened to also serve food, other than the other way around, but I was okay with that. There were enough seats for all 10 of us, and the smells of that place! Ahhh, heavenly. I settled on… Something not listed on the menu. Drats. Well, I can still kind of explain it: it was a sort of a «skillet» meal, with onions, potatoes, eggs, and green peppers. There was some kind of meat… sausage maybe? At any rate, it was a relatively small portion, but the food was fantastic. Fresh, hot, perfectly seasoned, and I ate it all up. I got the Nutella Coffee to go also with that. It was heavenly: chocolate-y, coffee-y, yummy. And because they have gelato there, I shared some with a friend. At first, I was wary because of the price, but then I found out you get to choose 3 flavors. Split between two people, it’s a reasonable price, but not so much if you’re getting it for yourself. I can’t really remember the three flavors we had, and unfortunately their website doesn’t have a list. One was some kind of apple cider, one was their honey, PROS: –Delicious, fresh, well-seasoned fare. –Lots of menu options – breakfast-y stuff, mostly. –They use locally sourced ingredients. –Friendly servers. CONS: –A bit small. I could see it filling up very quickly. –Fairly expensive price for the portion you get. –Parking lot can fill up FAST. THEVERDICT: This place was charming and had good food. As someone who enjoys a black coffee, I would be really interested to try theirs at some point; I feel like it would be pretty good quality. There is a nice array of food to choose from, and from what I experienced, it was insanely delicious. It’s a quick service, casual place to grab some brunch with a friend, located in a busy shopping area.

I wanted a cup of joe before I make my way back to Atlanta and I randomly found this on Google Map! I. FOOD&DRINKS They have a wide variety of drinks, gelato, and other coffee pastries. I got the Lavender Honey Latte and it was bomb! The honey was melted to perfection and the lavender flavor was blended in well. II. SERVICE I came during closing time so the hipster behind the counter was ready to go but still friendly after we paid for our drinks. We say in the other room away from the cashier and they came to drop off the drinks for us! III. ATMOSPHERE/DECOR Very 80s theme, dark but still modern. Nice place to have a meeting or to just chill. IV. PRICES Everything seem to be under 15 bucks. Very affordable!

Good food and plenty of creative menu options. For dining in, coffee and tea were served in to-go cups, which in my opinion doesn’t keep heat as long. Service was quick on a packed rainy day, but was not very welcoming. Overall, I’d love to visit again and try more new things!

Imagine yourself in icy temperatures… snow all around… bundled in layers and a giant coat. Well, you’ll still want to make your way to Milk and Honey for gelato… because it’s just that good. I love their milk and honey flavor(very subtle and soothing to the palate), pistachio(top notch rating), and berry flavors! They also are great at giving their customer an extensive, rotating, adventurous choice, like lavender or avocado. I haven’t had a flavor I dislike, yet. As for their coffee, the milk and honey is my go to; It’s the perfect amount of sweet. As a barista at a high end coffee shop, I pride myself on knowing my coffee, and while it’s better than many, I still would go here for gelato first. Their cookies are pretty yum, too, btw!

Gritty eggs in bacon egg sandwich, skimpy lox, fishy taste. Pumpkin late was really good though. St at the counter and it asked that the ladies did not like each other. Rolling their eyes and very curt when talking to each other. Kids salted caramel hot chocolate was just got chocolate.

This place is an authentic Chattanooga, Tennessee charm! You have to try the milk and honey latte… if you’re in the mood for a smoothie order the Green and Mean or Tigers Blood! You can’t go wrong with either one!

We came for breakfast and for the price tag the sandwiches were pretty small. They tasted good though. The milk & honey gelato is delicious, come for that!

Coffee was delicious. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with no egg(I’m allergic). They must have forgot and put an egg on it then took it off as I found a piece of egg white in it and had a really bad allergic reaction. Disappointed, cook needs to realize how dangerous this can be.

This little coffee shop has some serious brew, gelato, and baked goods. Breakfast and lunch this place until your face hurts. Though, your lunch might become a gelato break. Either way you’ll be happy! (Their branding and design work are pretty easy on the eyes to boot. A much needed break.)

I liked Milk and Honey a lot. It didn’t, however, quite thrill me the way the«hype» surrounding the place had me expecting to be thrilled. That said, the interior of Milk and Honey is quite small. Can be very crowded and awkward in the area where you order and pay when busy. The line for gelato is long, and it was unclear if a second register was open for coffee and other orders. Some efficiency is certainly lost there. The whole place was really really warm. Not sure if the AC was out the day we visited, but it felt warm and moist. Not great. And a funky smell added to the lack of environmental luster. I had the lavender honey latte. It was good. Didn’t knock my socks off, and I may not go out of my way to make it back for it, but it was decently good. Also ordered the paletas. Those were delicious. Tasted like they were packed with fresh produce. Tried the blueberry lime and the avocado. So good. Worth a stop, but temper your expectations.

We found this on Unilocal!and saw the great reviews, so we tried it this past weekend. It was fantastic. They serve Stumptown Coffee, which is a favorite of mine. The atmosphere inside was very nice, with cute booths that gave it a very nice 1950s feel. The gelato is AMAZING. I normally don’t go crazy for gelato, but they make their own and it is quite good. You get an adequate size cup(not too big, not too small) and you can choose up to three flavors to go in it. I got rocky road, elvis(banana and peanut butter), and coffee and cream. My fiancé‘ got pistachio, blueberry banana, and swiss cake roll(with real pieces of swiss cake). We were both very satisfied. They also had homemade salted caramels that were divine. We will definitely return next time we’re in Chattanooga.

Authentic homemade Gelato made from scratch using locally sourced products. Yummmmmm! While visiting my hometown I stopped in with my sister and nephew and received warm greetings upon entering this cute parlor. The sweet gal working the counter didn’t mind offering us up endless«samples». We kept saying«just one more» «oh oh just one more — the lemon lavender… The salted caramel… The mocha mudpie. .: their speciality«Milk and Honey» It was so hard to choose because everything was so good! In addition to handmade gelato they also make sorbet, cookies, muffins, breads and offer a light breakfast and lunch. They offer just one size cup — it serves up 3 small scoops at $ 4 and some change. I learned the Monen family owns the place along with several other restaurants in the area. Delighted to see the growth my hometown has experienced since my departure!

Was looking up coffee shops in the area as I was driving through town and didn’t want a regular burnt tasting Starbucks. This shop was open late and I walked in to something amazing. I usually look for the pretentious coffee shops, not for the snob effect but bc usually those type of shops put so much care into a great cup of coffee. This shop was such a pleasant surprise, welcoming, not pretentious and yet… They brewed STUMPTOWN! I was in heaven. Their pastries great and they warmed it for me and my fiancé loves his gelato. Well worth the wait in line. We sat at the counter bar and chatted with the employees who offered great pastry and gelato opinions on which one was best and not to mention they were playing some GREAT music. New fav coffee shop to stop at when rolling through on my way to Nashville. You will not be disappointed!

I love local eateries, and this place is no exception. An eclectic mix of items on the menu with many ingredients from local farms. I had the Elvis sandwich– peanut butter, honey, and caramelized bananas toasted on a ciabatta roll. Good and filling! I also accidentally got to try the Elvis smoothie(they got my order confused — oops!) and it was also really good. The gelato and bakery items looked delicious, but I was too full to give them a try. Next time!

Seriously, one of the cutest shops I have ever seen. I wish they had a Milk & Honey shop in Atlanta. I think it would be very popular in Atlanta. There are indoor and outdoor seating. There are lots of bar/stool seating inside and outside, four tables outside, and two booths inside. The décor is very cute as you can see in my pictures. You get three scoops of gelato in a Milk & Honey plastic & durable cup for $ 5. There are so many gelato flavors! The one flavor that stood out to me was of course Milk & Honey like the store’s name. You also get to choose two other flavors so I chose Dulce De Leche and Vanilla Latte. My favorites would be rated in this order: Milk & Honey, Dulce De Leche, and Vanilla Latte. The Milk & Honey flavor is very unique. I would say it tastes like sweet Vanilla. I really loved this flavor. The Dulce De Leche is very similar to the Milk & Honey Flavor so I liked that flavor as well. The Vanilla Latte was to satisfy my coffee loving craving. It’s a must order for coffee enthusiasts. There are also other desserts, soups, salads, sandwiches, and drinks that I would like to try on their menu. Overall, I’m a fan of Milk & Honey. I’m sad that it’s out of reach from me as it is about a two hour drive from Atlanta. I would make it a point to stop by Milk & Honey the next time I am in Chattanooga. Milk & Honey is definitely a gem in Chattanooga! Until we meet again, Milk & Honey!

We stopped in here for breakfast on our way from Atlanta to middle of nowhere Tennessee. We got there right on the cusp of the change between breakfast and lunch. We all opted to go for breakfast instead of lunch. I ordered the TN Ham and Apple. This is a sourdough roll that’s filled with Benton’s ham, granny smith apples, cheddar, and honey mustard. Ok so it can be a lunch item too, but I ordered it off of the breakfast menu. The sandwich was the perfect balance of salty and sour with a bit of sweet from the honey mustard. The biscuits that the others in my group had looked amazing. Judging by the good sounds they were making, I think they enjoyed them a lot. They also have a build your own breakfast sandwich option here as well. I love this option! It’s also great if you happen to go with picky eaters because they can make something that they would enjoy eating. The have plenty of coffee options if you happen to drink coffee. I don’t drink it so I stuck with water.
