History
Established in 2013.
We opened The Crash Pad: An Uncommon Hostel back in 2011, with future plans for a late-night bar/restaurant to serve both the hostel guests and the growing neighborhood. Four years later, and two years after opening the Squirrel, our little Main Street strip is blowing up in ways we never imagined.

Business Owner
My business partner Max and I moved to Chattanooga from the Boston area in 2005. In 2011 we opened The Crash Pad: An Uncommon Hostel, and in 2013 opened Flying Squirrel next door.
