thisis bob and im posting back a review of mister steer tires and brake shoes well got a call from owner teems deisel to help a contactor at fed ex right down the street from my shop at 6pm at night scottie done been working 26 hrs no sleep call after call and i understand fed ex contactors i used to be one they gotta go so i went wwith scottie to terminal to get job done faster we got there we met with one of the teems brothers apparently they moved there shop and needed help so we jacked it up pulled sreers off backed slacks off and pulled drums well what do you know no front brake shoes on truck well thats major DOT VIOLATION and them being contracted to fed ex well anyway the cores on brake shoes arent free the cores were 100 both sets and shoes cost close to 250 cost from frieghtliner i changed the steer tires for the man and installed new valve stems by the way its 20 degrees outside and the one brother i met ex military we talked about our service and our time in and he was nice got tires done and scottie went frieghtliner in ringold ga to get shoes and i went back to shop scottie came back and i went back to help finish we installed mew pins and shoes and springs and drums and new tires and adjusted brakes and dropped truck wrote ticket and he gave us a credit card number and signed ticket and we left went back to shop ran the credit card and what do you know its no good so we call em and they said they would take care of it the next day we get busy and thay dont call or come pay the bill the next dayso for 5 days we call and wait and the ma sends his mech up here to pay well he dont have the brake shoe cores and before i can even say anything he starts in on me about the bill he hasnt paid we said this and we said that and he had his wallet out and 1 set of shoes that wernt even the right ones he starts in about call out charge and he dont pay tax and we charcged too much for the shoes so i got angry and told him have his boss call me and and told him he s got some nerve come up to pay a bill after your moneys no good and its 7 days later and you wanna complain to me about your bill when havent even paid me a nickel for my services rendered you know dumbass you lucky it aint 40 yrs ago when i started working on trucks cause you would got to hear what i had to say from the fetal position the bill was 850 i think so i talked to boss and told him just make it 600 cash so we waited another week and finally got paid not cash but a check i ate the core money 100 and the tax 75 and the and the callout 75 250 dollars off your bill and your gonna get on here and runn your mouth well buddy mr justin my daddy would call you a liar a cheat and a thief and so will i right to your face if youd like i tried to be far and honest and operate with integrity so if your not not about that well what can i do about nothing so in closing you justin can tell the thruth or get sued for slander or better yet go to jail for theft of services or mess with wrong person and get whats coming you only get to kick the dog once next time it will turn on you and tear your ass up oh and by the way its a free country still you ought to thank your brother and not leave him stuck with a broken truck and then complain when i help you you ungrateful little shit

CAUTION!!! I was quoted $ 300 dollars to install front brake shoes and change 2 front steer tires. I furnished the tires. Bobs provided the front brake pads. I was told by the mechanic that I would NOT be charged the $ 75 dollar service call fee. When I got the bill it was $ 800 dollars and they still charged me the $ 75 dollar service fee!!! I called and spoke with Bob and agreed to meet him in front of his shop so I could return him the old brake shoes. I asked Bob about the service charge. He told me he wasn’t getting out there for free. Then I asked about being charged tax because I work for a small business. He literally got in my face and yelled «WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? YOUR A FUCKING DIESEL MECHANIC!!! WHY DIDN’T YOU DO THE FUCKING WORK YOURSELF! YOU HAVEN’T PAID THE FUCKING BILL!!! FUCK YOU!!!

This is an updated review from my previous one-​star review. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. To sum up my previous post, these guys tried to tell my that my engine was locked up and they needed to replace the entire engine. They claimed that they have been doing this for years and have never seen anything like this.
I brought my car elsewhere and was told that the engine was not locked up, it just needs a functioning starter. I told the new shop that Bob’s Road Service put a new starter in the car already. I was informed that it was a junk starter. One can conclude two possibilities here:
1. These guys don’t have any idea what they are doing and have no business working on vehicles.
2. They purposely tried to put a junk starter in there and scam me in to buying a new engine.
Either way, these «mechanics» really should not be allowed to be preying on people and need to be investigated ASAP. Do yourself a favor and tow your broken car or truck to a real shop with ASC Certified mechanics.
