More importantly they offer bee keeping supplies, equipment & workshops which is so crucial to us humans & animals alike.
Also have an observation hive for viewing (safely in glass).
A great place to visit with the kids. When I was growing up, we were shown to fear bees; now we need to honor them more than ever.

I am a hobbyist beekeeper with just a couple hives. For years I have purchased my supplies online from large companies in the industry. When the Valley Hive opened I found their selection of supplies as good as any catalog company, and the prices are the same or lower. But the main thing is the wealth of information they are willing to share with the public. A pleasure to do business with them.

This place is awsome. I love the honey it tastes super good and healthy and the workers are all awsome. Elisa W. Comment does not deter me because I’ve experienced nothing but awesome service and quality honey. I don’t recall any wrongdoing from the workers.

We are so lucky to have such a unique place in our neighborhood! Great locally grown honey! The owners and staff are friendly and knowlegeable about everything from their honey to anything Beekeeping! Honey, Beekeeping supplies and gifts all under a huge oak tree, It doesn’t get better than this!

DO NOT GO HERE! Terrible terrible terrible customer service. The woman who helped was extremely rude and unhelpful. Couldn’t get out of fast enough. Don’t waste your time going HERE buy what you need on amazon… you can get it for a third of the price.

My five year old really enjoyed the hive tour and the location. Got a huge pot of wildflower honey and it’s fantastic. Super friendly!

This review is for the valley hive in the Westfield Topanga Village. Stopped by this place to try out their samples and I am in love, especially with the orange blossom honey. Also tried the buckwheat, wildflower, hawaiian but the orange blossom is the one for me! It is light, sweet, citrusy, and delicious! I planned to get a jar but they didn’t have it available so instead, I bought 15 sticks for $ 5. Not a bad deal considering that the sticks are mess-​free. Come stop by for a sweet treat!

Bought wildflower honey and the lemon honey at the stand in The Village at Topanga today. Awesome staff. Very helpful and kind. It’s local honey too, which is great. The lemon honey was AMAZING. Stop by this little kiosk in The Village when you get a chance!

We took an intro to bees class that is very informative. The staff is very knowledgable and have real world experience.

This is the greatest find in Chatsworth. I was out with a friend and spotted their sign for this area’s honey. So we went to investigate it. What a pleasant surprise to find this business with a gift shop of all forms of honey and accessories, like honey pots, candles and soap. They also have darling towel sets, aprons and oven mitts all in honey bee theme. In a room next to the gift shop they have a working facility to show how the honey combs are made and showing the worker bees in action. It is a great place for kids to show where honey comes from. The owner is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly showing all the different wares they sell.

I just went here for the first time and I am glad I went. This place is very close off of Topanga Canyon (Hwy 27). The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their business. The honey is delicious and very reasonably priced. I cam here to buy Honey for my allergies as well as a sweet treat. I am glad I came here and will definitely come again.

Cool place — fresh honey straight from the source!

The Valley Hive is AMAZING for helping me with my honey emergency! I have almost completely lost my voice and called 5 minutes before they closed to see how late they were open. They asked me how long I would be and offered to stayed open for me! I sound awful and they must have taken pity on my poor throat.) Even though we arrived 5 minutes past closing, they gave us samples to taste, gave us a quick tour and taught my 6 year old about bees. They are an example of everything I love about Chatsworth and of why it is great to shop local. Oh, and the honey is delicious!

I stopped by The Valley Hive today to check out what all the buzz was about… I couldn’t help myself, haha. I was greeted by a big friendly dog and then by the owners who were about as welcoming as it comes. They quickly took me in to show me a working hive and described what was going on inside, That was too cool ! Then took me into the little store and it was loaded with everything BEE’S, Honey in all shapes and forms right down to bee keeper suits pot holders and lots of trinkets, I had a great talk with Robin my tour guide and the owner and I had a chance to taste Fresh Honey that was quite delicious & special I have to say. This Gem is right in my neighborhood
and I go past it daily I am thrilled to have stopped by!

This is such a cute little place over in Chatsworth. They keep their own bees and help other people keep bees. They sell all of the gear you would need if that’s what you are into. It was pretty cool because they have a bee hive inside of a glass case so you can see the goings on of a real working bee hive. As for me, I am afraid of bees and would never keep bees of my own even though they do all of the work for you. However, if you need some fresh local honey or any tea/​honey themed gifts they have a cute, decntly priced gift shop. This is where I will be getting my honey from now on. I am already on jar #2 from this place with no complaints. Everyone I’ve met is very nice and very knowledgable about all things bee. I totaly recommend checkign this place out if you have not yet.

Soooo cool. we saw signs guiding us here with «local» honey. Honey is almost medicinal, read up on it. Local honey is you best bet if you have allergies cause its from plants in your area. so not only did we buy honey here, we saw how they extract the honey from the combs, keep bees, etc etc. I have known for years that we cannot survive without bees. A great place to visit.

I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t realize that bees are hugely important to our crop productions and their numbers have been waning. If you have an interest in beekeeping or just learning about bees in general, this place is a must!
My husband and I spent 2 hours there on Saturday, learning as much about bees as we could stuff into our heads. We started off with a bit of history on beekeeping and then saw the glass observation hive for a deeper explanation of who bees lives. Who knew that they keep their living areas at just the right temperature for their young by flapping their wings in unison. I think people could learn alot from how bees work and live together.
From there we donned beekeeper suits and went out to the the apiary where Danny and Keith got us up close and personal with the bees. We opened hives and pulled out frames crawling with live bees while they others buzzed all around us. They were not scary and nobody got stung. The staff is highly experienced and knowledgeable in beekeeping and you can buy honey and gift items as well as be keeping gear.
We watched as the was caps were removed from honey combs and spun in the extractor and everyone left with a little jar of honey poured right from the extractor. It’s quite the experience and well worth the money. We left there with a huge appreciated for bees and the desire to start a hive ourselves.

Great place for the kids and a sweet bit of honey. Fell upon this place when I was jogging around my neighborhood. Danny the owner was super nice too. Will take the kids there next time
