Chava head guy and his crew Cesar and Noe were professional packers, courteous, and fast but careful. I have been in the antique business for 40 years and they are the BEST.
They moved all my 18^th century and early 19^th century furniture from our condo to our antiques warehouse. Not any breakage, chips etc…

A friend recommended Spartan Van Lines and they did not disappoint. Chico, Gilmer, and Roberto were professional, speedy, and overall a pleasure to move with! Make sure you clarify ahead of time how you can pay (credit, cashiers check, etc) to make your move as stress free as possible!

Needed a moving company to transfer all my belongings from san Francisco to san dimas… and needed it as soon as possible… Spartan Van Lines did the job so well… price was really great and the delivery was exceptional! !! I would recommend this company and George, Fredo and Mario are suberp !!!

Spartan Van Lines is a great moving company. Alex was our consultant and he was extremely professional and helpful. Spartan is different from other moving companies because they actually have someone (in our case, Alex) go to your house/​apartment and look at what you have to give you an accurate quote. Other companies just ask you to tell them over the phone how many boxes you have, months before you pack! How the hell am I supposed to know how many things I have when I haven’t even started packing? Right?! Having a professional go to your home is honest and reliable. They will know what to expect from having physically seen what belongings you have.
On the day of the move, the team did a fantastic job with all of our stuff. They took the time to repackage some loose items that weren’t packed very well, and we knew our bed would be a pain in the booty to take apart but they did it with care. Every item or box was given a sticker with a number for inventory. When it came to delivery, everything arrived just a few days after our preferred delivery date, which is completely understandable. The delivery team was also great and reassembled our bed nicely. They took care to not get our floor dirty since it was raining at the time.
Go with Spartan! These guys know what they are doing, are good communicators, and always make sure the customer is happy.

I was very disappointed in my moving experience through Spartan Van Lines. The first group of guys in Los Angeles seemed to be doing a good job and a few were but there was definitely one in the group who packed things unprofessionally. They seemed a bit unorganized with the amount of people they designated for packing and moving our house and the workers seemed unhappy about that. Then we had a lot of back and forth on delivery times to our house in another state. Finally we arrived at our new house in Texas, the second crew was even less guys. One didn’t even stay but a half hour and he was not experienced, careless and opening complained about moving stuff upstairs. I was concerned about the carpet with the move and I had reason to cause they left stains all over the new carpet. Even the walls up the starts got dirt on them. When we started to unpack we noticed the damage to our dining room table, frames, bedroom furniture and how horribly things were packed. Some just thrown in there. So sad that people treat your things this way yet alone for how much you pay and trust they will handle it. Never again. Terrible experience.
Shortly after this post Mark L. from the claim department proactively contacted me to ask about my experience. Although at times I was difficult to reach he continued to follow up and stayed focused on making the matters right. He was very apologetic and although he couldn’t fix the damages he tried to make me feel better about the situation going as far as he could we a credit. He did an excellent job working with me and so I can say their customer service has been a good experience thanks to Mark.

Spartan came through for me also at the end of the line in my move from L.A. to Florida. Everything arrived in the same condition, items were assembled and I am a happy customer. I commend Igor and team for their conscientious hard work and Alex my rep for matching conditions of another quote at sign on. I can see that Spartan takes pride in exceeding expectations – not just meeting them.

Update to the review: Mark L. reached out to me and offered a credit to make up for the issues even when I told him I didn’t need one. He really showed that if nothing else, someone at Spartan understands customer service.

Once past the initial hurdle of arriving at 1:00 for my move that was scheduled for a window that started at 8:00, the team of Joseph, Alfredo and George handled the move quickly with only one damaged item.
Most importantly, they stayed at the minimum quoted charge for time.

Spartan Van Lines rocks! Today I had a crew of 3 move me from my 3^rd floor apartment into my new condo. There were 4 flights of stairs and 33 stairs and the crew did my move in a professional manner and smiled the whole time. (Crew leader was Ulysses) These guys busted their butts and did way more than I could have ever imagined. I hope to never move again but if I do I’ll be calling Spartan Van Lines for sure! Give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Was pretty stressed with choosing a moving company. Have had a few bad experiences and moving in general is a stressful experience.
Very glad I chose Spartan. From working with Juan Carlos in getting the job quoted to George and his crew picking everything up in Orange County to Ricardo and his crew dropping everything off in Northern California.
The entire move went great. Not a dime over what was originally quoted. George and his guys took great care of everything on the pickup. Inventoried the entire house and had the entire home loaded up, over 2,000 square feet, in under 8 hours.
On the drop off Ricardo and his crew had everything unloaded and put back together in under 6 hours. Packing was removed and taken with them. So far everything is just like it was before the pickup. Not a single item damaged.
Juan Carlos was there whenever we had a question and helped make sure everything went smooth. Thank you Spartan for doing such a great job. Will definitely recommend and use you again if needed.

Joseph, Sergio & Eulysses did a great job loading our stuff. Carefully wrapped & crated all our things we had out of boxes. Very efficient, professional and great customer service. Learned a few trick on packing and disassembling our couch we had no idea disassembled! Haha We are moving to Texas and would have been happy if the same 3 guys came and unloaded us there, however I feel confident we will get the same type of service on delivery as their delivery people work for Spartan and not contracted out. Would definitely recommend Spartan and Joseph, Sergio & Eulysses!

Moved from LA to SJC. They sent Juan Carlos to estimate and quote a price. After that they sent Ricardo and his team to board the stuff. They estimated 7 days for the stuff to get to my new place but they delivered it on the 5^th day morning. Elmer and his team came in and quickly and carefully unloaded my stuff. Overall pretty happy with their speed and punctuality and level of service and glad everything went smoothly. They have a nice team. Thanks!

I just moved to Temecula and Spartan did the moving of my stuff. When it get to the destination only two crew (Joseph & Roberto) do all the works. they were very good in doing their job.. .. .. .unloading all the stuff with an extra careful. I highly recommend Spartan. We had a wonderful salesperson that came out to give us a quote, Juan Carlos. Our moving men were amazing!!! They were Joseh and Richardo. There was a third mover but I misplaced his name. They were professional and very efficient. We have a 2 bedroom home and they had it all packed up in two hours. The bonus was they delivered the NEXT DAY in San Jose. Over a 600 mile drive. Nothing was damaged! Choosing a moving company can be very hard. They made it so easy. Thanks Spartan.

The movers were prompt, thorough, and careful with the packaging and handling of my goods. Very professional and were very understanding of any odd situations. Thank you for the great experience with this move, Joseph, Mario, and George.

I couldn’t have asked for a better job moving from Los Angeles to Seattle. We got the cheapest quote out of all the moving companies that came for a site visit, and the quote ended up being the exact amount they charged. Ricardo and his team did an expert job packing and loading the truck, adding wrap and blankets to furniture and boxes as necessary (the other moving companies failed to do that when my husband moved out here initially).
And on the delivery end, Sal and Isnay did the perfect job of fitting our possessions into the motorcycle garage we are using for storage. Everything fit, but nothing was smushed and we didn’t have to worry about things breaking when we closed the door.
They also had their supervisor calling in to talk to me at both the loading and unloading to make sure that everything was going to my satisfaction.
My husband is always very cautious about contractors and moving companies, so it’s a good sign that even he thought they did a wonderful job.

The first step of the move couldn’t have gone any better. Joseph and Richard are absolute professionals. They were efficient and calculated The volume of my stuff was pushing the limits of the size of the partition I was quoted for. Joseph and Richard found ways to pack my stuff that I would have never thought of. Points for creativity! In the end, my stuff met the quoted volume requirements and I didn’t have ANY additional charges. They packed 2 storage units in a matter of about 2 hours, I thought it was going to take all day!

Joseph and Ricardo are very fast in packing up the stuff and very friendly. You guys are osm. The moving company is fantastic. They came at home to check inventory and gave the best and cheaper price than other moving companies.
