It’s sort of scary seeing the amount of other reviews mentioning stomach issues after eating the kabob. I too suffered from this. I’ve always considered myself as having a stomach made of steel, but I completely became SICK. This must be what food poisoning feels like. I’ve been here maybe 2 – 3 times out of convenience, but will not be returning after my last trip. It is really unfortunate because the old man/lady are really nice. :(

My dad likes to eat from here a lot. I’ve been coming here on and off since 2010. For some reason, he really enjoyed their chicken kabob plate but nearly every time they would give him chicken koobideh as well, which he hates. I think he got tired of complaining about it and hasn’t ordered it for quite some time now, but he still orders pizza from this place. The pizza itself is good. I really don’t know how some of you are saying that it’s inedible garbage when really, it’s just decent pizza. Not the greatest, not the worst. Definitely a notch or two above Big Mama’s and Papa’s. That pizza tastes like cardboard. Personally, I tend to stay away from any of their other food items, especially the sandwiches. The only decent sandwich here is the turkey sandwich but the last 3 times that I ordered it, I ended up with diarrhea. The last time I decided to play it safe and only got half a sandwich, but to no avail, I still ended up making unpleasant toilet trips. I will be fair with this place until I am no longer happy with their pizza.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was decent. However, it did make my stomach hurt. I do NOT recommend this place.

So yesterday I went to Mr. Pizza. The woman there did not understand very much English. So that was fine. I dealt with it. When it came time to pay for my pizza witch was wrong. I pulled out my debit card. She said I had to go next door to get cash. That means I would have to spend extra money to get my food. I said that I didn’t want to and that when I placed the order she told me they take cards. So she took my card and instead of charging me $ 9.50 she charged me $ 950.00. She would not give me any receipt and it took my dad coming for the lady to give me any documentation of the charge. I called my bank to dispute the charge and went back to work. After work later on the same night I log in to my bank online. The same place charged me another $ 73. So yea. They stole money.

Also giving these guys a big fat 0. Guy tells me 45 min for delivery. 1.5 hours go by and so i call them. Guy says he is in my complex looking for my building. I said have him call me on the number i gave them so i can help the guy find it. Another 30 min goes by and so i call again. This time its a lady and she says delivery guy is still at the pizza place and will be here in 10 min. So obviously a little aggrivated at this point i asked her so which is it, is he looking for my place or has he not left yet its been 2 hours and no delivery. She immediately hangs up on me. I finally find the guy and ask him what happened. He hands me a receipt that says .30 cents for charge and said they messed up the charge but it was around $ 35. Well sorry bud but no pizza for two hours doesnt equate to paying full price to me. So i paid him $ 25 instead. Their manager calls me soon after to mention the discount i paid. I said well you told me 45min and it took almost 2.5 hours, would you want to pay full price?! After yelling at me and being extremely rude about the whole situation he tells me ‘ok so i charge your card $ 30 anyway. Well then i guess you will get nothing as not only is that illegal, because i signed my name saying i would only pay $ 25, but now they will get nothing because im disputing the whole charge and reporting them to the better business bureau. If you cant run a good business with acceptable customer service, you shouldnt be in business at all. Thank you for the post call mr pizza, im now gunning to shut you down!!! Good luck.

The worst!!! It took over 2 hours to get our pizza when we were told 45 min. We had to call several times to check and they kept saying 10 minutes. When the Delivery finally got here we short paid by $ 5 because of the delay. The owner then proceeded to call us and cuss us out and say he was going to charge the full $ 30. Never once apologized for the delay. Such horrible customer service.

Didn’t think it could get worse than mama and papas but it did… Not sure what I received counts as food let alone pizza. Only tried them because of a coupon left on a door. Going back to our usual most definitely. Save yourselves the stomach ache !

I love this place. I have been coming for years. The food is always delicious. The guy running the place is so nice and friendly. It’s a great hidden spot that I found by accident years ago. Thank you for always having fresh kabobs and the amazing service you have always provided. Keep it up.

Come for the shabby exterior in the middle of a usually hot, run-down strip mall, stay for the food! Perhaps if I’m bored one day I’ll try the pizza. as for the kebab — it’s awesome :-) $ 9.99 got me a nice little buffet of ground beef with spicing, spiced chicken kebab and wonderfully grilled chicken legs and wings. There is plain basmati rice, but the basmati rice with saffron and currants is delicious. The rice is cooked nicely and is slightly sweet and tart from the currants. A separate bar contains lettuce, cucumber, a form of raita(that’s what I’d call it) and tomato. The restaurant is run by a Persian couple, they are friendly though their English is limited. Seriously, don’t mind the run-down interior: while it isn’t glamorous, it is clean and the hospitality of the owners and the home style goodness of the kebabs make up for any lack of décor.

My review is a Big Fat ZERO. I feel sorry that I even have to write this review. This place is a joke. You have NO right to call your food Persian. I’m Persian, and I would NEVER serve this disgusting waste of ingredients and call it Persian. Come on, Have some respect for Persian cuisine, or get out of the food business. Shameful! I made a big mistake once and walked into this place and ordered what I thought was Persian food; what I got was some reheated, leftovers from his buffet. The fact that it was reheated food wasn’t the worst part; what this pile of garbage looked and tasted like was the problem. Anyway, STAYAWAY from this Dump.

My office tends to order delivery food as a whole, and I was a little unenthused of what was going to show up when I was asked if i wanted anything and looked up the menu online, but whatever — food is food and i was hungry. The sandwich that showed up for the five dollars or so I paid was HUGE, and tastes delicious, enough for two meals. Color me thoroughly impressed — I’ll be back on my own time.

I love Mr. Pizza & Kabob. Its like you can have it all in one place. Their food is fresh and yummy. The only bad thing is I get filled up fast and I cant take the rest to work to eat later. Farideh the cashier is wonderful and I love seeing her joyous face everytime I walk in. Very friendly people and atmosphere. I might just go there today. :)

I just received the flier for this place in the mail at work. Today I gave it a try. I opted for a meal deal for me and my coworkers which has two medium pizza with two toppings and two cans of soda for $ 13.99. I called in the order for delivery to my office and the woman on the phone quoted me $ 20 for the whole order. I asked her why it came to so much and she said tax and delivery fee. That would make the delivery fee almost $ 5! We still got the pizza because we were out of options for lunch. When the woman delivered the pizza, I asked her again how the order came to $ 20. She said it was because I added tomatoes to one pizza. I then asked her about why their delivery fee is so high and she said there is no delivery fee. None of it made sense but she was already here. All in all, these people scammed us out of a few bucks. We didn’t tip for this very reason. Had they been honest and honored their advertised pricing/deal, we probably would have given that money willingly as a tip and would have been repeat customers. This will be my one and only purchase with them. My advice is to try a different local pizza shop more deserving of your business.

Ordered through here from the EatStreet app, paid via PayPal, after 45 minutes of waiting I decided to call them. The owner told me that my order was on the way, I said okay that’s fine. He then proceeded to tell me to pay him with cash, when I told him I didn’t have any cash he said and I quote«Okay thanks for calling bye». This is strange considering he said my food was on the way already, and the money was already deducted from my PayPal account. I would avoid this place, how shady can you possibly be?! Now I have to file a claim with EatStreet, they will probably be removed from their site, and also pursue a refund from PayPal. Great.

Save your time and money. We stopped by there out of need, not want, and regret it to the fullest extent. We got two slices of pizza, that looked at least two days old, which they«heated up». We decided to get a dozen wings to go with the slices as well, and boy was that a mistake. The pizza wasn’t too bad, but the wings? They were FROZENFOSTERFARM wings that you can get at any grocery store, and they tasted like they were microwaved, not even thrown into the oven.

This place is kinda rundown, but the food isn’t bad. Don’t think I would eat-in here as the people behind the counter don’t seem to be that friendly, the place is tiny and the view is of a dirty-ass Chatsworth parking lot housing like 4 other equally-decent but run-down-looking shops. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have eaten here if my car wasn’t in the shop and I didn’t need a place within walking distance of my job, but so is life. All I’ve gotten from here is pizza and despite the sketchy exterior and interior of this joint, the pizza isn’t bad. Thin crust, not too soggy with plenty of toppings. I got a slice of mushroom and a slice of pepperoni for $ 3.75. The only thing is the pizza just sits under a heat-lamp so it’s usually lukewarm when you get it. If I had a stove and could pop that baby in for about 5 mins, the slice would be perfect. –1 star for the location/cleanliness/customer service –1 star for pizza that isn’t particularly hot
