They did a great job 12 years ago so we’re coming back again. Very honest, qualtiy products, easy and simple install.
No complaints and one of the least painless contractors we’ve used over the years.
This is why we’re going with them again for 2 more rooms of hardwood.

Hurach, you lied about someone dying. I will never recommend you. I didn’t even hear back after the job was complete.

FIRST off anyone who carries Kane Eurolon has to be a crook, it is the WORST carpet you could buy! It is olefin in decks of their fancy name Eurolon which is made of plastic recycled bottles!!! I bought Kane Eurolon and paid a hefty amount for this cheap crap! It literally started fading terribly within the first year and Kane did nothing! KANE and THE FRANK FAMILY who own Kane are DIRTY ROTTEN CHEATS and if Unilocal take this off they will be too! It is SHAMEFUL!

Stay far away from this company! The owner of the store does not care about his customers. Once he has your money he doesn’t care anything about you. We just had laminate installed in our entire house and the installer seemed to be some random guy that was hired to do the job. He barely spoke english so it was difficult to ask him questions and tell him when you didn’t like something. He also brought his 10 year old son with him all 4 days he worked. That was fine except on the last day the son was doing the caulking on the base boards. Seriously!!! When I hire a professional to install my floors I expect something more than child labor. I called the store to tell them this was unacceptable and the answer I got from the owner was, «he is only doing a small part of the job.» That has to be one of the most ridiculous answers I have ever heard! I paid $ 7000 for new flooring and was told it is ok by this company that a child is doing any part of the labor. The installer also didn’t caulk a small portion of the baseboards and we didn’t realize it until after he had left. We were told by the owner that he can’t sent him back out and it’s just too bad.
I also had to clean up after the installer. He left small pieces of laminate in our yard where he was cutting and he left our flooring in our house completely dirty. It took me 2 hours to clean the floors!!! Again if I’m paying for professional flooring the floors should look prestine when they are done.
After the installer left we have also found one board behind a door that isn’t pushed together all the way and another in a corner where it was cut too short and doesn’t quite go to the baseboard.
Overall I am very diasappointed with my experience with this company. I love my florring but wish I would have bought it from someone who cares about their customers and the instillation of the products they sell. I’m also pretty sure I overpaid for my flooring but that’s my fault for having a time crunch and not being able to properly compare prices:(

Unfortunately, this is not a store I can recommend unless they have changed their business practices. We had hardwood and tile installed about 3 years ago by this place. While initially we felt we picked the right place, as the job went on, it became quite clear we didn’t. Here are my issues:
1. We were asked to put down a 50% deposit on the project which is actually against the law. Only 10% of the project price or less than $ 1000 (whichever is less) is allowed. We were not aware of this law at the time and had we been, we would have turned them away completely!
2. Prior to them even beginning the work, they demanded the balance be paid. Again, a VERY stupid mistake on our part, but the contractor was asking us and it was a very awkward situation. He wouldn’t begin the work unless we paid and he’s standing there looking at us like «hello, i want to start work.» As I said, we should not have allowed this.
3. There were issues that needed to be corrected after the install, but it was like PULLING TEETH to get a phone call back. The floor dipped in some places, the hardwood was not fully contacting the slab floor, risers were not set correctly. Weeks went by and the we could not get anyone to come back out and fix the problems. Finally Herach came by, but was less than helpful and said it was the way the concrete was that made the floor problems. He was there for 5 minutes and was rushed the whole time. He simply didn’t care at all!
4. It was not until this past month after suffering a flood and we had to have our floors replaced again. I have had three very reputable companies come out and are astonished at how poorly the floor was laid. Nothing was prepped right and they all agreed it was a poor job.
We spent $ 7000 and feel completely ripped off. We felt once they had our money, that was it and we were left on our own. We should have sued, but didn’t…although now we wonder if we can knowing with confirmation how poorly the floor was laid. There are PLENTY of other reputable stores that will treat you right and offer the same selection.

I checked out Advantage Carpet when I was looking for new carpet for my entry stairs, loft and master bedroom. Having worked in purchasing for 10+ years, I always check out a lot of places for quality, service and pricing, and get at least 3 bids before making any decisions. I compared Advantage Carpet’s quality and prices with that of several other carpet stores in the area. I was pleasantly surprised that both their quality and pricing was actually much better than the other stores I checked out. Plus, Hurach, the owner, was very helpful in explaining the different quality between the different manufacturers, the warranties, even their histories. And, he offered me several different options within my price range.
The installers were at my house on time, worked efficiently, and did a great job with the installation, as the carpeting looks even better in my house than I imagined. The only complaint I had was that the installers scratched a wall in my bedroom when moving some of the furniture. Fortunately, we still need to paint the walls so it didn’t matter a whole lot, but. .. I did bring it to Hurach’s attention who discussed it with the installers who expressed their apologies.
Since there was a little carpet left over, Hurach offered to have the remaining carpet cut into smaller pieces and hemmed so that I could use them as throw rugs. I now, for the first time, have a perfectly sized throw rug (6′ wide) in front of my front door as well as other smaller rugs for my other doors. They look great on my wood floor!
I highly recommend checking out Advantage Carpet to anyone who is planning on buying new carpeting — you’ll be glad you did!

We are so pleased with our carpet and the service rendered at Advantage Carpet. Several months ago my husband and I went to Advantage Carpet looking to buy carpet for our entire house. We were referred by a satisfied coworker of mine who bought carpet from them 8 years ago. We were greeted by a friendly salesman, Dennis. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about carpet. We picked out several carpets and took home samples that day. The next day we ordered the carpet and Dennis came to our house and took exact measurments. 2 weeks later the installers were at our house. The installers were efficient, thorough, and very careful with moving my furniture. I have since sent 2 friends to Advantage who were equally pleased. I would go back to them in a minute.

Not only did Advantage Carpet helped me make the right selection and give me the time that I needed, they were there after the job was finished as well. I had some questions and concerns about the installation and they came to my home the next day. To me it says that they didn’t only want my money, but they want to keep me as a future costumer.
I highly recommend this store to everybody!
