The East Wind Silver

I have purchased many substantial pieces of jewelry here over the years. In addition, I have introduced many friends to East Wind Silver. This afternoon I brought a friend there around 4:30, telling her how much she would enjoy the shop. Not realizing that they close at 5:00 pm, which is oddly early in high season for Chatham, we browsed around and began to make our selections.
At 5 o’clock, with no warning, the owner began turning off the lights and closing cases in front of us, still never uttering a word.
My friend and I were appalled at his rudeness and on principle left the store without buying a thing. Not only did he lose a sizable sale, but a very loyal customer.
My friend and I continued into town and spent $ 1000 at Mark August, where we were treated exceptionally well by a fun staff who acknowledged a regular customer. I will recommend this store going forward.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Being a jewelry store in Chatham, I was bracing myself for high prices, but was pleasantly surprised with their range of options. In addition to the beautiful jewelry, they have cute little pewter boxes and other gift items. If you’re looking for a high-​quality, budget-​friendly jewelry store with great service, this is the place to be!

My husband and I came to Cape Cod for a getaway and I was on the quest for the perfect Cape Cod bracelet souvenir to take back with me. After trying jewelers all over I stumbled upon East Wind through Unilocal and so happy I did! Not only did I get the Cape Cod hook bracelet at $ 50-​$ 70 less than the competitors but the quality and design was better too! I also bought a ring, a pair of earrings for my mother and a bracelet for my mother-​in law. I saw several other pieces I would have loved to have as well but they were a bit pricey. Next time! Will defiantly come back if I ever get the chance but it is good to know they are online as well in case I don’t!

I can not even tell you what a pleasure it is for me to be writing this review. East Wind Silver is such a special company. There are tons of jewelry stores on Cape Cod but none are as magical and have the spirit that East Wind Silver has created. John, the owner is incredibly knowledgable and if you tell him what kind of piece you’re looking for he will move heaven and earth to make you happy. The pieces you find at East Wind Silver are so wonderful, creative, and original that you’ll keep coming back.

A few summers ago I was enjoying a relaxing dinner on the patio at Clancy’s. As my waitress placed a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio in front of me, something shiny and silver caught my eye. It was a sterling silver bracelet with a fish hook as the clasp! I asked her immediately where she bought it because I knew I had to have one. «East Wind Silver,» she said.
The next day I went with my mother and sister to get my own «Chatham Hook Bracelet.» And like any good jewlery junkie, I couldn’t just stop at the bracelet. This store is truly a feast for the eyes and will feed the jewlery beast within you. They have a very large selection that will appeal to almost anyone, and the price point is right on the money. When you purchase a piece of jewlery here, you will feel as though you bought something truly special and unique. They have a wide offering of hammered silver, amber, pearls, celtic jewerly, red and aqua turquoise, and glass jewlery.
Definitely check out the website because many of their pieces can be purchased online. In fact, many of my friends have asked me where I bought the various rings, bracelets (especially the Hook bracelet) and earrings that I wear and they have ended up purchasing similar pieces online. You will absolutely be able to find wonderful jewlery here that will forever remind you of your good times at the Cape. You can also get some early Christmas shopping done and buy some lovely gifts for others. Although, you will have no choice but to buy some presents for yourself too!
And at these prices, who can blame you? You’ve worked hard all year, you’re on vacation, you deserve it!
