The air conditioner on my Jaguar recently was not working. I took it to Madison Jaguar as I always did for maintenance and repairs. Under new ownership, I was very skeptical about their diagnosis of my AC. They told me the compressor needed to be replaced and I needed to replace my rear brake pads. All to the tune of $ 3800 including tax and labor. I was in a state of shock! I told them to put Freon in for the time being. I immediately reached out to a friend of mine and asked who he recommended for auto body work. Without hesitation he recommended that I call Adam at DeFalco’s. I called Adam and he told me to bring the car right over. After looking at the AC compressor, he told me I did not need to replace it right away. The AC is working fine now! While I was there he performed my state inspection.
I highly recommend DeFalco’s for their honesty, service, knowledge and experience. They have a new customer in me!!!

I had an unfortunate incident and needed to get my truck repaired in which I chose De Falco’s via a VERY high recommendation from my cousin who lives in Madison. He nailed it. They have the best service people that I have ever been around before and I work in the restaurant industry. I’ve never met two people like Adam and Billy that provide the best in customer service, attention to detail, care and courtesy. Albeit they have an INSANELY busy day, they still make time to get to their guests (I call them as such because they don’t treat people like customers. They’re like 2 long lost cousins that you haven’t seen in a while that you would like to have them over for dinner) and keep them informed on the status of their vehicle.
This is BEFORE I start talking about the craftsmanship that the De Falco’s team delivers on repairing your vehicle. My truck looks better than when it came off the lot in 2014! I was stunned to see what I received back and their reaction as if «that’s the way we do it all day, every day, buddy»! Smiles always on their faces even in tough times of trying to attend to people that at times can be more than a handful.
Nothing but the utmost respect for this place and the people that work there from the top down. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would do it. You’re not getting better service than this anywhere in ANY industry. Thanks again for making my «thorn in my side» to come out smelling like roses. Well done, gents!

Stuck in the foothills of Central Jersey, but this towing company and auto shop handled our situation professionally! We were stranded by Berkeley Heights, NJ due to our water pump failing and 2 radiator hoses blowing up. The damage, and smoke coming from under the hood looked like our truck may be totally damaged… We thought we were stranded for sure, due to limited cell phone signals, but a DeFalco’s tow truck happened by and stopped to help. The driver analyzed the situation and asked us if we would like to have our truck towed to their shop, though it was Saturday afternoon after they closed. After speaking to Joe on the phone, he described all work to be done, gave a quote that was very decent, compared to the shop we bring it to regularly in Jersey City. The car is all done, and ready to be picked up now, after only one day of repairs. Their tow truck driver was professional, sympathetic to the situation and we thank him too, for saving us from even more headache. Excellent auto shop for car care!

I (well my husband) has had two unfortunate road disasters in the past 60 days. These guys are simply the best on every account. Not only are they extremely fast but they are kind, compassionate and go out of the way to make sure they can help you. They don’t talk in circles and try to upsell… they just get to the problem… fix it and get you on your way. Yesterday I had a small emergency from a bad encounter with a snow bank and they not only squeezed me in (and they had a fully booked day) but got me in and out very fast. They also offered to drive me anywhere I needed to go. They are perfect gentlemen and very talented at what they do. I give them my highest recommendation!

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but in this case I feel it’s necessary to. I broke down at 10 pm Christmas night, of all the horrible nights to break down and I had my two little ones with me. I called AAA for a tow and within minutes I got a call from Defalcos Towing letting me know the tow truck would be to me within 10 – 15 minutes. The woman on the phone was very sweet and heard my kids yelling in the background and said she would try her best to make it sooner for me. Then my tow truck arrived and he was very friendly and quick to get us to safety in his truck and on our way to our destination. Thanks Defalcos for making a holiday disaster just a little bit better.

I know not everyone has had a good experience with DeFalco’s, but I got really lucky tonight. My starter gave up the ghost this afternoon when I was leaving the grocery store. My husband tried to see if he could fix it himself, but it wasn’t something he was going to be able to do with limited resources. I called AAA, and was able to get towed within 20 minutes of placing the call.
Our driver was Neville, who was very sweet and pleasant. He had a really positive attitude and kept my spirits up while he loaded my car onto the flatbed. I only needed to be towed a short distance, and from what we could tell from being behind him, he was conscientious about getting my car there in one piece. When unloading my car, he made sure it was in a convenient spot so the mechanic could get it into the bay easier.
Neville’s professionalism and kindness helped make a difficult situation from getting worse. Here’s to hoping the shop I got towed to will give service that is just as good as DeFalco’s gave me tonight.

My Yukon broke down in a town near DeFalco’s shop. AAA arranged the towing but I was skeptical about using DeFalco for service after reading some negative reviews. My experience was positive. The office staff was helpful and courteous, the tow driver professional, and the repair was completed at a fair price and in a timely manner — my vehicle was towed late Saturday afternoon and I had it back on Monday.

DeFalco’s Towing… I had a fantastic experience… here… Adam and Billy… really stood by me as a customer as though I were a family member!!! THE DIFFERENCE… WITH DEFALCO’S WAS THE WILL &TENACIOUS SPIRIT TO TRY !!! My «new older car » which I found by the grace of God… suddenly spun out… airbags and all… I had significant external damages… but a good friend & I really felt the car was still really worthy…
I had towed my car to two shops and both of them refused to even honestly have a thorough look or conversation. If I wasn’t a $ 6000.00 Insurance job I really didn’t even exist… «Oh just junk it » «Get a new lease… it’s cheap » Easy for everyone to say but no one was in my shoes. I met with Adam and He invested a significant few hours looking into all the issues. There were issues… and the car is much older he asked for my patience he honestly made no promises… but believed It was worth a shot and I agreed… We decided after 2 weeks and a thorough mechanical inspection to move ahead. Honestly Mr. Rempfer searched and searched for solutions. At each crossroad I got the information I needed and the support I needed. On 2 occasions repairs were so challenging they were scrapped & re started. This was an extremely difficult time for me I am a kind and patient person, and I treated the team with kindness… The result Incredible My New Old Car is safely back on the road…

I had a big road trip ahead of me when my car decided not to start. DeFalco’s both towed and fixed my car quickly and effectively and got me on my way. Their price seemed fair, too.

Defalco’s really saved our Christmas! Late Christmas Eve our car’s clutch went out on our way to my parents, about three hours away. The man who came to tow us was extremely nice and helpful.
Then we faced another issue– being an hour away from home and three hours from our destination, late Christmas Eve, who would be open and even have any rental cars available? Defalco’s saved the day again. They rented us a car at a really low rate. They were so helpful that they helped us carry our bags to the car and made sure the car was warmed up for us. It was Christmas Eve and they clearly were doing everything they could to help us.

I’ve had great experiences with DeFalco’s. After breaking down in the Lincoln Tunnel, AAA towed my car to a shop in Manhattan who charged me $ 945 for an alternator I didn’t even need!!! I broke down AGAIN on way back to NJ leaving their shop.
De Falco’s picked me up and took my car back to their shop. They fixed everything at a reasonable price, then when I filed a complaint against the other shop, the owner of DeFalco’s actually took the time to write a letter on my behalf confirming that the alternator was not the problem. Long story short, they actually helped me get most of my money back!
They go the extra mile to help their customers and are honest guys. I continue to go to them and am never disappointed. Highly recommended.

The person who came to fix my tire did not secure the lug back correctly on my rim. My boyfriend nearly got into an accident when the lug and tire became loose! I called to complain to the company and the only response I got what that the rim was probably rusty and that is why they could not secure the lug correctly. If they would have alerted me about this I would have taken caution when driving and gone straight to a garage to get it fixed. I forgot to add that they did not call me back when I lodged my initial complaint. I had to basically stalk the receptionist to speak with the manager.
