We specialize in original paintings by both local and international artists. After 30 years in business in Wellesley, Massachusetts (near Boston), this Cape Cod location shows a large selection of new Contemporary and Transitional artists while also showing work by many of our Traditional masters. Our goal is to provide our customers advice, drawing on our years of experience, whether they are seasoned collectors or first time buyers. This gallery attracts collectors from around the globe with its broad selections and vast price range from $ 300 to $ 30,000.

History

Established in 1982.

Chatham Fine Art, owned by J. Todd Enterprises, operates what is the longest, continuously running art gallery space on all of Cape Cod. Phyllis and Bob T., the owners, having many years in the art gallery business in Greater Boston, now operate this newly renovated showplace, smack in the middle of the busiest sidewalk on Cape Cod, directly across the street from the Chatham Squire.

Their Boston Area gallery, one of New England’s leading regional art galleries, representing Transitional, Contemporary and Traditional artwork by living artists from across the U.S. plus some European, Canadian, South American and a few Asian artists, was the pre-​cursor to this Cape Cod gem. Founders of J. Todd Enterprises with previous galleries in Greater Boston and now Chatham, MA. The owners’ goal is to have this gallery show the broadest, newest and most exciting selection of any gallery on Cape Cod and the Islands. Their attraction to this gallery space in Chatham is that it has been an art gallery for 47 uninterrupted years and is visited by hundreds of people daily in summer. The owners welcome patrons from all over the world, and the gallery ships worldwide. Artists represented make up a «Who’s Who» of Cape Cod, New England and other American artists. Hundreds of original works on exhibit by over 40 different artists.
