Centercourt Athletic Club of Chatham

My son joined centercourt performance training a year ago.
He was very excited to go from a neighborhood place to centercourt where it seemed the competition was better.
fast forward a year later and he hates the place. They kept him in the same group most of the time. The group was much younger and inferior to his play. They told him he should advance to the older group but basically lied to hiom. It was all about the size of the group and the money not what was good for the kids
they don’t coach just go thru the motions. They use the same drills over and aver again but do not have any match play which is how kids get better
for the very high price you pay to me its a rip!
after telling clay (president) about what happened and that we were quitting him and his coaches admitted they screwed up
Little late clay you must learn how to coach the kids and don’t worry so much about the money
He takes the money and run not caring
They took his love for the game from him
I would definitely not recommend this tennis meat market

Wonderful club for the whole family. Great junior programs from red ball to yellow ball, the best teaching pros in the area, 20 superb courts – 8 hard and 12 har tru, and plenty of opportunities to play.

I joined Center Court Chatham last fall and have been more than pleased with everything! The facilities are always clean, there is never a lack of court time and the round robin games have made it easy to meet other tennis players. My membership has really allowed me to be active again after having my first kid and it is great to meet new people with similar interests. I would recommend the club to anyone who wants to play tennis more than once a week, it’s a great value and there as no limit to how much you can play.

This used to be such a great club. Great Staff, great reservation and billing system, great pros. Ever since ownership changed hands you can never get anyone on the phone, all calls are automatically directed to the Chatham club where the staff knows very little about Morristown and cares even less about it’s customers. Today I called to make reservations at the Morristown club for Sunday and the woman who answered the phone thought nothing of telling me that there is no longer a reservation system for the club and that If I wanted to hit on Sunday I’d have to contact the pro by email. WHAT?! Why would I want to do that? I’m not looking for lessons and I’m supposed to track down their «pro» and expect him to have the reservation system in his head?
This is a classic example of a company making capital improvements and thinking that it somehow makes it better while comletely forgetting about customer service. I’ll never play there again.

I could only speak about the birthday party. It was awesome! Kids had «real» instruction and kids had fun. I found that the party have truly inspired them to get lessons in tennis if they weren’t getting any.
What I was surprised was the court wasn’t hard courts but clay-​like, so your «wheels» do get a bit dirty. However, the overall place is neat and accessible to a clubhouse stocked with a pool table, tvs, fooz ball table and beverages.
Parking is ample but depending what bubble court you’re in, you can take quite a walk. I heard the fees are outrageous but most of the grown ups I met who play there really enjoy the facilities. My thing is that is it truly worth the price? Come here if you’re a tennis or even a paddle ball fanatic.
