We learned of Excel Builders through an Angie’s List promotion and decided to take them on to complete a project on our house. We have a second floor balcony that required the replacement of the door and storm door.
Trent came to our house and assessed the situation. He was very personable and really seemed to know a lot about repairs if this nature in an older (1910) Mpls house. Within days, he and one of his contractors (Gary) came over and got to work. This was last Fall. We were satisfied with the work done.
Since then a gap between the house and the outer edge of the storm door came about that did not allow the storm door to close and lock. I immediately contacted Trent about it who sent Gary out to repair it. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take a look at the repair upon completion. A gap still existed but at least the door was able to close and lock. Since then the gap has become more prominent, despite the fact that we can still close and lock the door. For how much longer? I don’t really know.
I was surprised that Trent never contacted us to follow up on the repair. Not too pleased.
