TEAL Construction specializes in residential construction and remodeling in addition to light commercial construction. From custom home construction to complete remodeling jobs, residential construction is just a part of our many specialties.

From start to finish, we can assist with the design of your new home, and can even assist in helping you select just the right piece of real estate on which to build.

We provide professional residential construction services to the Central Virginia area. We are based in Charlottesville, VA and serve the surrounding counties including Albemarle County, Louisa County, Greene County, Nelson County and Orange County.

History

Established in 1997.

Troy Yancey started TEAL Construction in 1997 after working in the construction industry for over 15 years. A graduate of Western Albemarle High School, Troy earned his degree in Business & Economics from Randolph-​Macon College.

Troy Yancey currently serves as the President of the Blue Ridge Home Builder’s Association. The Blue Ridge Home Builders Association (BRHBA) is a professional trade association organized in 1964 to unite the builder/​developer with the allied trade industries, businesses and professions that have interest in the building industry.

A lifelong native of Albemarle County, Troy and his wife Tracy reside in Crozet, VA with his three children, Erika, Andrew, and Lauren. Their names, together with his, form the name of his company.

TEAL Construction, LLC is a Class A General Contractor and serves customers in the Central Virginia Area. For years we have been honored with an A+ Rating from the Better Business Bureau.

Troy Yancey started TEAL Construction in 1997 after working in the construction industry for over 15 years. A graduate of Western Albemarle High School, Troy earned his degree in Business & Economics from Randolph-​Macon College. While there, he was a 4-​year starter on the baseball team. He was named «Player of the Year» in 1987 by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
