History

Established in 2005.

Bryant Harrison began Quick Fix out of the back of his car. At first, all he had was a knack for computers and a drive to help people. Soon, he was flooded with customers. Everyone needs and wants someone who truly listens to their problem… someone who cares. His business boomed.

To help with the flood of new clients, Bryant began to hire like-​minded people. People who, like him, want to do good work and who care about others. Because the mission and the culture of Quick Fix is one of excellence, dedication, integrity, honesty and caring; the company attracts businesses that expect quality. It attracts end users that want good, cheerful service. It succeeds.

Bryant loves to make people happy. He appreciates good jokes, is quick to smile, and is fanatical about top-​notch customer service. He started his tech career by breaking his roommate’s computer in college four times. He was able to get it fixed every time, however, and so averted a semester of awkwardness. Bryant cares about the lives he touches every day and exemplifies this in his unwavering focus on client happiness.

Quick Fix is the best. This is a team of incredibly helpful and all around great people. I don’t think I’ve ever received better customer service than from these guys. At Milli Joe, we often have problems with our internet cutting out and Bryan is always on top of it. He usually has it back up and running in less than a minute, which is incredibly important for us as all of our sales have to be completed with an Internet connection. Always reliable, always kind, Quick Fix is the go to tech help and repair place.

This place is a life-​saver. Was having issues with my guest WiFi network and couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to setup my Google Chromecast (it was being finicky). I call them on a SATURDAY morning and they schedule me an appointment for that afternoon. I get on the phone with one of their techs who squared me away in 30 minutes. I went from stressing out about two issues I couldn’t resolve to having them both fixed and for less $ 50 in no time at all. The whole process could not have been more seamless. These guys are the best IT folks in C’Ville.

Quick Fix is amazing– the kind of place you don’t think even exists anymore. These are people who care about others and their community. They helped me several years ago when my laptop was freezing up on me and I could not afford to buy another one, let alone to pay them the full fee they were going to charge. They went out of their way to assist me, and worked with me to come up with a price I could afford. They were fast, professional, and kind, which is something I have never had with tech support from anywhere else. They helped me several years ago, but I still remember how much it meant to me and how impressed I was with their service. I no longer live in the area, but my father regularly uses their services and raves about them every time he does.

Recently, I took my laptop, which was having power issues (low battery power, shut off, no power) to Quick Fix Geek to have them repair it.
I then called QFG and spoke to Brad with the IT Department. Brad was very helpful and said to bring it in that day.
So, I brought it in that morning. Brad took time out, even with many repair orders in the que, and looked at my laptop. He made a temporary diagnoses of the problem then gave me a loaner laptop to use. (The loaner was crucial as this laptop was used for my business.)
A few days later, I received a call from Brad. After doing a thorough diagnoses, he concluded that it was a less expensive repair. Additionally, he did some other maintenance to it to speed it up so that is would perform even better for work.
I picked it up that day and took it home. It’s working as well as ever and is keeping its charge like it did when I bought it new.
I highly recommend Quick Fix Geek to anyone who needs to get their computer repaired thoroughly and quickly.

Like most computer users, I have just enough info to be dangerous. But when my PC got the Blue Screen of Death, I froze. I had no idea how to fix it, and like many people, my PC is my work, is my PC.
When I called, not only did I get a live person, but a friendly person, someone who felt my panic, and told me exactly what to do. When I arrived 20 minutes later, my computer was out of the bag, plugged in and being diagnosed before I could even finish explaining what had happened. And rather than sell me things I didn’t need, I got advice to scrap the computer and upgrade. No money was to be made with that advice-​and I was hooked.
Marty’s infectious excitement about computers, how they work and what vexes them is awesome. I found myself wanting to know more than I already did. In the end, I scared up an old PC and brought it back in to have the old hard drive copied over, clean up and optimized. It was all done in record time, by local guys who know their stuff… isn’t that what we all say we really want in good service?
There is no way I would go anywhere else. And when I buy my next laptop, I won’t take it out of the box until I bring it to these guys to tweak.
QuickFix is the kind of place you hope exists. There’s loads of free parking, their fees are upfront and simple, and their disposition is straight-​forward and congenial, without an air of making you feel like a loser for mistakes you might have made.
