MSS Designs, Inc. is a local business. We have been serving Charlottesville and the surrounding areas since 1991. We are a full service interior design firm. We handle everything from window treatments to full renovations. Our design studio is equipped with many wonderful designer fabrics and trims as well as custom furniture catalogs, wallpaper books, lighting catalogs, artwork, mirrors, rugs and carpets and MUCH MORE. We pride ourselves on listening to the needs of our customers. Our company tag line is «Design is in the detail».

History

Established in 1991.

MSS Designs, Inc. was founded by Marta Schneider in 1991. Marta had worked in town for another design firm. She decided to branch out on her own. In 1995 Nina Crawford joined the firm through an introduction by a faux artist. Nina is originally from New York where she first worked in the design industry. Between Marta and Nina, they have a combined total of almost 50 years in this industry.

Nina has been in the Interior Design business for over 25 years. Her company recently celebrated the 20 year anniversary mark. We pride ourselves on attention to detail. At MSS Designs, Inc. we carry many lines of fabrics, wallpaper, trim, artwork, lighting and floor coverings. We are available for any project from small to large.
