Specialties
I work with people who have chronic or acute pain and stress. I also work with them to help maintain a healthy body once the stress has been relieved. I am a bodyworker using several modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy, Zero Balancing, Visceral Mobilization and Muscle Energy. I have worked in this field for 40 years and have taught throughout the country and the world. My background is in speech pathology and audiology. My textbook for Zero Balancing practitioners is called «Zero Balancing Expanded – The Attitude of Awaiting a Fish.» I have also been teaching T’ai Chi Chuan since 1984 and bring chi (qi) and knowledge of the five elements into my practice.
History
Established in 1976.
I mutated into a bodyworker from a speech therapist because I felt that there was more to healing than teaching compensatory mechanisms. In 1983 I had the luck of taking a class with Fritz Smith, MD, the founder of Zero Balancing. In 1984 I worked with Dr. Upledger, DO, and was chosen to become one of the first CranioSacral Therapy Instructors for the Upledger Institute. I worked with the Institute for 13 years. Meanwhile I also became an instructor for the Zero Balancing Health Association in 1989. I began taking classes with Dr. Jean-Pierre Barral in 1984, who brought visceral manipulation to bodyworkers in this country. Being an instructor for these two organizations plus the School of T’ai Chi Chuan has given me the opportunity to assist many people in their quest for better health.

Business Owner
My teaching and my practice are like two hands washing each other. They each support and teach me so I am always learning. This is one of the aspects of my work that I really love. I am very fortunate to be a person who looks forward going to my office each day, or to be teaching a class.
