We provide a rejuvenating environment just minutes from wineries, downtown Charlottesville, University of Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our five guestrooms offer a quiet oasis for you to relax and forget about your daily life. If you are looking for a romantic getaway stay in one of our deluxe rooms — two with king beds and two with queens. All four of them have fireplaces in the bedchambers and deep Jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom.

Of course you can spend some time in the outdoor hot tub enjoying the night sky and gazing at stars.

History

Established in 1997.

Foxfield Inn is located in one of Charlottesville’s most picturesque country settings near Foxfield steeplechase track, yet only minutes from downtown Charlottesville.

The discriminating B&B Inn-​goers and newcomers alike will find the experiences and romance of a country inn at Foxfield Inn, from sipping fine Virginia wines upon your arrival to relaxing in our soothing hot tub and in-​room Jacuzzis.

The Inn is smoke-​free and pet-​free environment in all guest areas. The entire Inn is on one floor. All areas are air conditioned.

Kathryn and Dan B.

Business Owner

Welcome to Foxfield Inn. We hope you enjoy your stay. Dan and Kathryn offer personal service and attention to make your stay at Foxfield Inn enjoyable and memorable.

Dan’s work as a fine arts photographer can be seen throughout the inn. He will commemorate your visit with portraiture if you desire. Dan worked at Kodak for 19 years before striking out on his own in photography. His corporate life began in quality control and product development engineering for biomedical films and ended in R&D product management for medical research films.

Kathryn brings her years of experience with the food industry to bear in the kitchen. She spent 21 years working at Cadbury Schweppes where she worked with divisions around the world improving the way the R&D and manufacturing teams operated. Your stay will be enhanced by the fine treats and breakfast delights she whips up.
