DaySong Studio™ is enrolling beginning voice and piano students now. Voice lessons are offered for high school students and older; piano lessons are offered for students who are able to read and older. We are building musicianship one student at a time!

Each student receives personalized notes detailing instruction and activities covered during the lesson via email. Students and parents alike will always know the lessons and how much practice time is required. Accomplishments will be shared and individualized feedback will be given. History

Established in 2010.

DaySong Studio was established with a particular focus on beginning voice and piano students of all ages. The studio developed from a handful of students of varying ages and backgrounds to a nearly full complement of pianists and vocalists who are sharing their gifts with the community, many in their respective schools and churches. DaySong Studio has helped students through vocal auditions. DaySong Studio has hosted an annual Spring Recital as well as a Chamber Christmas Recital and several Chamber Recitals in homes of students. We are definitely developing musicianship one student at a time!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Mrs. Day is a graduate of the Buckingham County Public School System. She is also a graduate of Liberty Baptist College, Lynchburg, VA (Music Education), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX (Master of Music).

Mrs. Day is a member of the Charlottesville Music Teachers Association.

Mrs. Day has taught General Music classes at the preschool, elementary and secondary levels. She has directed Choirs at the elementary, secondary and

adult levels. She has also directed Handbell and Brass Choirs. She has taught Piano Classes at the secondary level, and has had several private piano students.

She has taught music in Buckingham and Albemarle Counties, The Covenant School of Charlottesville, Charlottesville High School and Buford Middle School.

Mrs. Day was the Church Music Director for The Salvation Army Corps (Church), Charlottesville for three and one half years.
