The phrase «Christian Study Center» is generally identified with a building that serves as a space for individuals associated with a university – students, staff, or faculty– in pursuit of ways to «think Christianly.» Christianity has shaped the minds of Christians and given them a unique perspective; a Christian Study Center is the place for followers of Christianity or those with questions to explore and grow to understand this perspective.
Study Centers might host lectures, discussion groups, seminars, or film viewings; they might conduct Bible studies, offer a library, or simply be a place in which students can study.
The Consortium of Christian Study Centers exists to advance the growth and effectiveness of Christian Study Centers at colleges and universities around the world.
In pursuit of this mission, CCSC has the following goals:
To promote collaboration among Study Centers
To provide mutual stimulation and resources to existing Study Centers
To encourage and support the development of new Study Centers
To raise awareness of the Study Center movement
