As out-​of-​state buyers with a very basic knowledge of Charlottesville (UVA and some TJ guy…) we could have easily been overwhelmed but lucky for us we found Amy Webb. We came to Amy Webb from seeing their Unilocal reviews and even though Amy herself was entirely booked at the time she managed to take care of us with her associate Deborah Rutter. We immediately began searching and seeing all kinds of properties before finally narrowing down to what seemed to fit our needs best in the Charlottesville market, Deborah constantly bringing in her experience and helping us sift thru the troublesome properties, and adapting to our own process of discovery and help us redefine what we really wanted. She made times in her schedule to be available for our searches on a weekly basis at first, then several times a week as we were getting closer to making a decision.
But it didn’t stop there, upon finding a great place that we absolutely fell in love with, she managed the negotiating, and led us thru the entire closing process with extensive calls, texts, email reminders for what we needed to be doing, selecting, appointing, etc, she was there literally on every step of the way, explaining and checking on us. We went on to close and move to our property and even several weeks later we had her checking and helping with miscellaneous odds and ends from the closing that still needed buttoning up. We highly recommend Deborah and her team, we were extremely well served and represented, and we have gained a good friend.

Amy was my listing agent. She told me exactly what I needed to do to prepare my home for sale. She provided support, consultation and encouragement until I had my house ready. Then, she put together a fantastic brochure and on-​line presentation and the house was sold in eight days. After that, Amy took care of all the details until closing.

Amy was our realtor for our recent move from Boston to Charlottesville. She was the best realtor I have ever worked with. Our first trip to Charlottesville was for my husband’s interviews. I called Amy to see if she might sit down with us so we could learn a little bit about buying a house in Charlottesville. She helped us decide which houses to see, get to know the area elementary schools, understand the pros and cons of different areas of town and different homes, determine a fair asking price for our home offer, find top notch inspectors (home, roof, septic — you name it!), negotiate the final deal, and even get our utilities set up and find service providers & local attractions once we got here (i.e. car dealership, restaurants, etc) As out-​of-​towners we knew we needed a realtor we could trust and whose judgement we trusted. And we are the kind of people who sometimes have unreasonably high expectations of people. So it means a lot that I can say that Amy exceeded our expectations on every level. We love our new home, our new neighborhood, our new town. And we confidently recommend Amy to potential home buyers and sellers any chance we get!
