Updated review. I have been dealing with this company since longer than 2013, I bought few computers from them for my office and they have backed up their service 100%. I recently had a problem with an HP computer I bought from them, warranty was for 1 year but with the manufacture, they asked me to allow them to handle the service to contact HP to speed things up, they were able to get my laptop repaired through HP within 1 business days for the cost of NOTHING. They wanted to help me out since I’ve been a long time customer, this is what I truly call a great customer service and great to their customers, Local family owned shops are the best!

I was on a trip and dropped my HP laptop by accident. The laptop didn’t open or close completely. I couldn’t even get the computer to the long in screen. I was afraid I was going to lose all my family photos and a lot of work stuff. I took it to this computer shop and Daniel checked the hard drive to make sure it was safe. He said it wasn’t reading but that didn’t really mean anything since they can work around it sometimes. I left my laptop with them. Daniel called me back the next day letting me know they could fix the hard drive and also repair the screen, since it broke. He asked me to share screens from my computer at my house and his computer at his shop so I could make sure all the pictures I need were there. I checked them all and I was really happy he recovered them all. I was on the phone with him for a while and I really appreciated his patience. When I picked up my computer, it looked like new with all my stuff recovered.
This computer shop knows what they’re doing and I HIGHLY recommend them! Yaaay!

Our company had 3 laptops that would not get to the desktop screen. This company offered free diagnostics for them to come to our location which I thought it was super convenient, I had called 2 other places and they wanted at least 100 to come out for a diagnosis, we didn’t really want to let the laptops leave our facility due to network security issues. Vellve Systems came out and performed a brief diagnosis, they offered to take the laptops back to their shop but like I said, we couldn’t do that for security reasons. The next day they came back with all parts needed and fixed them on the spot, they hooked them all up to these network again. Jim was very professional and knowledgeable, we will use them from now and on. I’m still surprised they didn’t charge anything to come out.

My Dell laptop completely died on me with all of my important documents and years of saved pictures inside. I was recommended to this business to repair my laptop, they repaired my laptop in a timely manner with all my stuff still intact. My laptop is not only fixed, it’s working faster than ever!

The first time I went to Vellve Computers was when I had a virus on my computer about a year ago. I met Alex and not only did he get rid of the virus, he was able to download more software on it. He had my computer back in no time and his customer care was exceptional!
I went back to him about a month ago to buy a couple of laptops from him for my kids. He gave me laptops with everything that I wanted downloaded on them including Microsoft office, an anti-​virus and even gave me a warranty. They were very reasonable priced. I will continue to recommend Alex to everyone that I know.

Fast efficient people. I had several problems with my laptop and I couldn’t access ACT software, they retrieved all my info and got it up to speed with a free virus protection. Recommended!

I called around few places and this company was the only one with free estimates. I took my iMac for repair since it didn’t turn on after the storm we had 2 days ago, and they told me they’d call me as soon as they could figure out what the issue was. Later in the evening one of the techs called me, telling me a part had been blown and the part was in stock. They fixed it right away and gave me 1 year warranty. They didn’t try to up sell me anything and I was very happy with the service.

This place gets my second 1-​star review ever. And the only other one was a place that gave me food poisoning and nearly sent me to the ER.
I gave them my hard drive because it was having problems and they were offering a free diagnostic. I was told to leave my cables with them and they would call me within 24 hours with a quote. After waiting 48 hours, I called them and left a message. The next day, now nearly 72 hours after drop off I was told there a was a pin that was not working and given a quote that seemed pretty high (later confirmed by calling around). I asked to pick up my equipment and was told I could. I drove to the their store only to learn my hard drive was not there but was off site somewhere. Wasted trip number one.
Alex offered to bring it directly to me and set up a time to do so, which was an incredibly nice thing to do. However, he was well over an hour late and by the time he did show up I was on my way out (I was now late for where I needed to be). However he forgot my cables to make the hard drive work. He promised to be back in 15 minutes with the cables and would leave them in my screen door. He never came back.
This began a cycle of three weeks of calling and asking when I could pick up my cables, being told Alex would drop them off at the store for pick up in an hour, by 5 PM, by 1 PM, etc. I must have been told over half a dozen times when Alex would drop off the cables but he didn’t. I dropped by the store for at least 2 – 3 more wasted trips.
Finally I was told Alex had dropped them off at the store. I called the next day to confirm they were there and then drove down after their lunch break. BUT the cables were not there. According to the employee, Alex had grabbed the wrong bag and it had my cable is there. Yet another wasted trip. This time I was livid because I had specifically called to confirm.
After nearly a month I was able to get my cables back but it was a lot more frustrating than such a simple exchange should ever have been and I was flat out lied to multiple times about the timing of everything which resulted in a lot of wasted trips and time.
Price alone gave me second thoughts about this place. Some of the crappiest customer service I’ve ever gotten deserves the lowest rating possible.

I was visiting some relatives and stopped by to drop off a laptop that crashed holding my aunt’s customer database files. The tech there was so friendly, letting me know he could take a look at it within the hour and would call with a status update. They called as promised and explained the issues. Luckily all files were recovered, but it would take a little more time to repair and try to get it up and running. I had to return home to FL the next day, but they collected my aunt’s info and contacted her the following day. Her laptop was salvageable, and they were even able to walk her through some computer basics and learn how to back up her files! Great customer service.

I had a major issue loading my version of the Quickbooks software onto my new laptop. I called tech support and was told my version was not compatible with my computer. In an attempt to upsell me, they said I would need to purchase an upgrade. I chose to inquire with a local company in order to verify their assertion. I found Vellve Systems and, they were not only able to load my existing version, they completed it the same day.
I highly recommend this company and intend on using them for all my future needs.

Alex made a visit to my house to determine why I was not getting a good Wi-​Fi signal in part of my house, and he was able to quickly assess the problem and addressed it immediately. Even before we had a contract he helped me navigate Time Warner Cable and provide immediate help.
He and his technician were back within a few days to help me install a secondary router, while maintaining my existing home office set up. Also, right after the technician left, I experienced a minor problem, called Alex for assistance and he sent his tech right around to come straight back to my house. Poor guy — I think he might have been late for dinner that night!
Very happy with Alex, his recommendations and the service at Vellve Systems. Our Wi-​Fi works so fast now — happy household.

This company gets 5 stars from me. I have had a home business for over 20 years and have dealt with a multitude of different computer installation and repair companies. Vellve Systems is far superior to any of these companies I have dealt with in the past. I had a major issue on a Sunday, and they responded within an hour. I was up and running again in no time. I was shocked at the level of skill and responsiveness. Because of their excellent level of service I purchased additional equipment at excellent prices. This was also all on-​site service. They go above and beyond for their customers, which is something that is rare these days. Needless to say, I give them the highest recommendation possible.

Very satisfied with the service. Location is very convenient for me. Price was very fair in my opinion, especially with the kind of service I received and turn around time. My laptop was returned to me exactly the same way I dropped it off, no scratches or damages. I am a very picky person with my electronics so I pay close attention to these things. I will be a repeated customer.

I have an old laptop that I wanted to bring back alive so I could use my old software for music. They diagnosed the issue to be a hard drive failure, they were right because now I have new hard drive and its working perfectly fine .time to start my music classes! They were on point. Will come back.

I was in town to see my family and I spilled water on my macbook pro, I needed a fast service, I found this repair shop. My laptop was fixed in 2 days and price was reasonable. I know where to send my family or my friends in Charlotte from now and on

Just got my laptop fixed and I’m typing on it. service and price was great. they didn’t fix my laptop the day it was promised but they had good customer service. almost a 5 star

Vellve was good in summer 2010. Repaired my desktop by updating my BIOS and reinstalling Windows. Price was fair. In summer of 2011 I’m not as impressed. Gave me an obvious runaround as to what was wrong. They fixed it but took a long time and upped the price substantially from the original estimate.

Will not use them again. Took computer for simple power jack replacement and turned into whole fiasco of getting the part shipped, which he said he had in stock before leaving the computer with him, then a problem with overheating, then a problem with the power adapter. What was supposed to be a simple 1 – 2 business day repair turned into 10 day complicated headache.
