Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I am pleased to say, that finally this situation is resolved. Even though Valvoline didn’t have to do anything legally, I feel their interference led to a reasonable outcome.

These guys are fantastic super quick really friendly and professional. Don’t have to get out of car and they are very honest

Just like another reviewer said, Valvoline damaged my oil pan and refuses to take the blame for it. I found out, from my very trusted dealership, that Valvoline used an oversized drain plug on my oil pan, and not the one that was originally on my car from the factory. This oversized drain plug stripped the threads of my oil pan and my pan has now been leaking since Valvoline touched my car.
I saw for myself what they did, how the pan was leaking, and brought them pictures as well as the oil pan, after getting it properly replaced at the dealership. Not only did they not acknowledge their fault, apologize, or offer a refund, Sean was a complete ass to me, a single female, and seemed to derive pleasure from speaking down to me, as if to an errant child, not a customer.
Do not go to these thugs and swindlers if you value your car at all!

$ 70 for a fully synthetic oil change. Little on the high side BUT for the speed it’s worth it! Knowledgeable people with friendly attitudes. I will definitely come back again for future oil changes.

Best oil change service I’ve had in a long time. I received service right away (having a 7 month old in the car, this was super important). All of the employees were extremely friendly, kind, and honest.
Went over a few issues with my car, but were NOT pushy about getting anything done if I didn’t want to. I love this, because I usually feel like I’m taken advantage of when I get an oil change.
They gave me the coupon/​discount without the paper (even though I had it)!
Was in and out with oil change, air filter replacement and windshield wiper replacement in 20 minutes exactly! Will absolutely go back!

I have been twice and received fast and excellent services each time. I am the typical woman who hates going to get their oil changed but the people that worked here made it quick and easy and they were so incredibly kind!

These guys were great for a state inspection. Really quick, friendly and detailed. They explained everything and got me on my way! This is the perfect place to pull in, no appt necessary! Julio was so nice!

I thought they had done a good job but come to find out.. . After driving it for 5000+ miles, I learn that these people had not sealed in the oil tank all the way… and I came in with very little oil. I am a commuter and drive far for my job… I was very upset to learn this. My life was in danger everytime I drove my car. I am very careful about selecting a place and as a new Charlotte resident thought this place would do a good job. I will not be returning to this place.

I’ve been LONGGGG over due for an oil change and I typically would either do it myself or go to my friends shop and get it done (That was up in NY — womp womp). On Sunday, I was driving down south blvd when I saw them in the distance — I told myself «Marco, you either get an oil change now or you risk going MONTHS without getting one done.
I pulled in around 1pm and I was in and out in 15 mins!!! No complaints here… everyone I spoke with was courteous, professional and super friendly.
The oil changes themselves are pricey. After taxes, my total was almost $ 70 for a synthetic blend. I did find a coupon online for $ 10 off which helped, but even $ 60 is still up there. Many places are around 20−40% less and they will offer free tire rotations, top off fluids, etc. Something that you don’t get here. The key word when it comes to this place is CONVENIENCE. They get you in and out in no time and for those of you who know me, I have no problem paying for it.
If your in a time crunch and you’re looking for a FAST oil change, don’t hesitate coming here!

I usually do my own oil changes. But, I was on a long assignment in Charlotte, and didn’t have my access to tools or a garage. So, I tried this place. They are a bunch of clowns.
First, I came in for an oil change. They offered to change my fuel filter for $ 24.99, all for just a few more minutes while I waited. I knew I was due, and the price couldn’t be beat, so, I agreed. Well, they took the old one out, and 3 hours later, they’re claiming that the parts store sent them the wrong part. Not only that, but the $ 24.99 quote was the price for a different car, they wanted to charge me nearly double! And they wanted me to believe that the PARTS STORE messed up?
To make up for messing up, and because I somehow managed to remain civil with them for 3 hours while they goofed up, they offered to change the thermostat on my car the next day for a discount (I had mentioned that I needed to get that done). I warned them that the thermostat was down by the power steering pump, not up on the top of the engine. The guy said it’s no problem, come back tomorrow, they’ll have the parts, and will get it done quickly. I arrive the next day, and the technician explains that they can’t do the thermostat, because it’s down by the power steering pump and difficult to work on… kind of like I told him. So, they don’t even listen to their customers, even when the customer clearly knows more than they do. But wait, it gets WORSE!
Just today, I’m back home, and I go to change my oil. I get my car up on the ramps and realize that these clowns PUT THE WRONG OIL FILTER ON MY CAR!!! They put on an oil filter that has about ½ the filter capacity of the proper one! Yes, it screwed onto the engine and held the seal, but that doesn’t make it appropriate!
I now have to spend the remainder of the life of this engine wondering what kind of damage driving 7,000 miles (the recommended oil change interval for my car) with restricted oil filter/​flow did to my 4-​valve V-​8.
If you like your car, if you know anything about cars, you will know to STAY FAR AWAY from this place. They’re ignorant, arrogant and dangerous to your car!

I love the convenience and speed of Valvoline. I have been to this particular location twice and they continue to impress me with their friendliness and speed. Amanda is awesome at what she does! My check engine light came on the other day and they were able to help me figure out the issue along with what other recommended maintenance should be done. I never felt pressured to buy anything or get anything done to my car, they just guided me in the right direction. Being a 25 year old female, I appreciate that so much in the car industry! I will be returning for my routine maintenance to this location.

I am very picky about my vehicles, one of which is a rare sportscar, so I usually avoid quick lubes but this place is different. The manager, Amanda, keeps the shop in pristine clean condition and was very accommodating of my desire to use my own oil which I brought (again, I am different than most, they have plenty of oil options for people that just want what their manufacturer specifies).
The prices were reasonable, the crew was knowledgable and friendly, and the job was done right. I will be coming back!
