The Trek Bicycle Store of Charlotte is a local bike shop in Charlotte, NC. The Trek Bike Store of Charlotte is conveniently located near the Northlake Mall on Exit 18 (I-77). We sell Trek Road, Mountain, Family and Kids bikes. We have the largest bike inventory in Charlotte when combined with our sister bike shops in Charlotte. We also have a full line of cycling clothing including Bontrager, Endura and Gore cycling clothing.

History
Established in 2008.
The Trek Bicycle Store of Charlotte (TBS Charlotte) was opened in November of 2008 as the sister store of Cool Breeze Cyclery. After the successful move and expansion of Cool Breeze Cyclery in 2006, Trek Bicycle Corporation approved the expansion to a second store location and the use of the Trek Brand. TBS Charlotte was one of only two «Trek Concept Stores» in North Carolina and one of only 60 such stores in the USA. The design of the store was accomplished using the same architect in Ohio that helped Harley Davidson redesign all of their Concept Stores. We travelled to Boulder Colorado to evaluate the new black interior theme for the store and liked it enough to choose a similar motif for our new store. As a Trek Concept store, we received considerable retail design help from Trek Corporate which greatly strengthened our relationship with our major supplier. Steve D.
Business Owner
After 30+ years of engineering and general management for Fortune 200 companies, Steve joined Cool Breeze Cyclery as a co-owner and general manager in 2006. Steve has a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and lots of hands-on wrenching experience on cars and bikes stemming from a long family heritage of professional auto mechanics.
Steve is a long time recreational bike rider and has gravitated to more road riding in the past several years. He enjoys doing charity bike rides and and is a six year MS150 veteran, as well as the Event Director for the Lake Norman Excursion.
Steve is very excited with his new Flames Project One Six Series Domane road bike for its’ ride quality and performance.
