History

Established in 2014.

Founded in April of 2014, TorchBearer Consulting was founded by Chief Illuminator Adrienne Craighead.

After four years at the University of South Carolina, Adrienne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree for Advertising /​Public Relations. Graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Honor’s College helped her secure a generous scholarship for graduate school overseas.

The Rotarians of District 7770 awarded her the Ambassadorial Scholarship to earn her Masters Degree in Communications at the University of Auckland in New Zealand. However, her course of study was not the main focus of her experience. Instead, she was selected for her commitment to visit with Rotary Clubs across the North and South Islands of New Zealand and spread cultural knowledge about the USA and life in South Carolina in particular.

After returning to the USA, Adrienne continued her «goodwill» journey by entertaining Rotary clubs across the Carolinas with speeches about her adventures in New Zealand.
