The Piedmont at Ivy Meadow

First of all, let me say that these apartments are beautiful! I absolutely loved my actual apartment, the pool, the clubhouse, the gym, etc. Unfortunately, it’s the staff, the poorly built buildings, and the other residents that ruin this place. The leasing office staff and I had more than a few unfortunate run ins. From losing our packages (their package handling system is abysmal), to leaving us without AC for 3 months in the summer, to saying they would reimburse for our ridiculous power bill after having a window unit during said AC outage and never reimbursing us. The people that run this place are rude and awful. I literally felt uncomfortable every time I had to go into the leasing office. Another negative is that the floors and ceilings are so poorly insulated, you can hear every little thing your upstairs neighbor does. While we lived here, we were cursed with the absolute worst neighbors. After complaining several times and realizing the leasing office could care less, we were forced to just deal with it. DO NOT move here if you enjoy sleeping. Another point about sleeping, there are so many people that live here who are irresponsible dog owners and leave their yappy dogs out of their porches while getting ready for work, prepared to be woken up at 6AM by yapping. Our windows grew mold due to poor installation, there was always water getting in. When I put in a service request about it, they said it was nothing to worry about. Mold is something to worry about. Bottom line, don’t be fooled by the pretty apartments and affordable rent, don’t move here.
