Lara Hill is INCREDIBLE! She was very detailed and quickly got a feel for what we wanted, what our priorities were, and helped us find something that matched as many items on our wishlist as we could within budget.

I’m not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. This entire time this group was beyond professional and they provided me with 100% confidence that they know what they’re doing. From cradle to grave they gave me the utmost confidence that I was in capable hands.
I used The Lars Group as my listing agent after working with an Agent who was basically incompetent and couldn’t sell his way out of a wet paper bag. I have seen Lars’ signs all over the place and read about him and his approach on his website. We made the call once we got rid of our dead weight.
The great thing about this group is the team approach. From the «listing coordinator» to the agent himself we were given constant updates. They had a professional photographer go into the house and take the most gorgeous photographs, and once the listing was created, it was put up on every internet site possible. There had to be some other things going on behind the scenes because we immediately started getting showings, it was like a complete 180 from the other agent we had.
Here’s the bottom line, we had 2 offers within 1.5 weeks and closed our house within 60 days of relisting it with The Lars Group. As you know it’s pretty dicey out there and we were in a situation where we really needed to sell so it got a little stressful at the old Mike C household. Lars and his group did an amazing job at relieving that stress and allowing my family and I to get back on with our life.
One example that Sweetie wanted me to mention was, now follow me here… we’re at closing and the table is set with the Buyers Agent, Buyers, Sweetie, Me, and Jon my awesome Agent. The lawyer asks the Buyers agent something about the Home Warranty that he was supposed to provide. He had a perplexed look which indicated that he forgot to set it up. Jon, my agent stepped up and told everyone not to worry that he can get it handled and seriously he got on his phone and called someone on his team and before we closed, the warranty was setup. Now, you worry about the dreaded «Closing» where if one piece of paper isn’t turned in then it sets everything back. NOT AN ISSUE when working with The Lars group. Competent and with a sense of urgency it was handled like a BOSS.
I don’t normally do «shout outs» but Kara Lipitsky and Jon Wian with this team were WONDERFUL. If you need a Buyers or Sellers agent you should give these guys a call.

Our listing with this company is up today!!! But the sad thing is you would never know that we were even represented with a realtor for the sale of our house. I Initially signed with Tree who was up front from the beginning in telling me, that it would not be her who I would do most of the communicating with once she signed us. Well that is almost the last time that I even spoke to anyone in that office. I received a few emails from Kara after my insistence on being kept up to date on showings, feed back etc: Tree informed me in mid August, I believe, that she was leaving this office and that I would be notified by whoever would be taking her place. I have not had 1 phone call nor 1 email of communication since that time. Well we still had showings, and questions related to the showings, yet still no contact. I would think that if this office took me seriously as a client and not just a sale that they don’t want to have to put out any effort I believe my home would of sold. To think that they ask 7%, I thought with that I would be getting 5 star service!!!

If you want personalized services, don’t use this group. they have a piece meal approach to listing and selling houses. meaning the listing agent does little more than list the house and negotiate the sale. We worked with «Tree» and she was very uncommunicative. She failed to notify us once the house was on MLS, we had to ask her office if she was still involved with the sale, as two weeks went by without word from her. We also had to contact her two hours after the buyers stated they wanted to make an offer, something she should have been aware of if she was tracking the showing comments on the house. We worked with 4 different people in that office. the photographer, who took good pics, Kara who did more work and communicated the most with us. Someone should steal her, she’s good! The actual documents for closing were handled by Chari, although we did most of the legwork via the buyers attorney. Apparently our agent didn’t go to the closing, as We received a call from the closing attorney who had questions. We weren’t informed of that. The closing occurred nearly a month ago and we have yet to hear directly from our agent, no thank you nothing. The group sent a survey and a $ 10 gift card to Starbucks. Really? We have and fantastic experience with other Remax’s, this one, not so much!
