The Lamp Place Inc was opened in 1980 when the owners saw that there was a need for affordable quality lamps and shades in the Charlotte North Carolina area. The Lamp repair department quickly followed.

We have been called Charlotte’s Local Favorite for a long time now. The Lamp Place opened in 1980 because we saw a need for affordable quality lamps and lamp shades in the North Carolina area.

Mirrors, Pictures, Accessories, Home Décor and Gift Items were quickly added, as customers loved the style and feel of the store. As business grew, the need for expansion came. Other stores were opened in the surrounding area. A lamp repair department was developed and has become a valuable resource for our community and continues to expand.

Today only our «South Blvd» Charlotte Location remains. The store sells a great variety of lamps, lamp shades and home décor. Our repair department is outstanding. The products and services here are available at competitive rates. We are locally owned and operated and consider ourselves lucky to have such happy employees and customers and we love our regulars!
