Established in 2013.

After nearly 10 years in the high end auto upholstery business, owner Steve Kurzman branched out and opened The Custom Stitching Co. in early 2013.

The Custom Stitching Co. was founded by Stephen Kurzman in early 2013. Steve, a New Jersey native was born and raised in the automotive industry. He spent his younger years in his father’s Auto Body Shop and grandfather’s Tire Warehouse. At 18, Steve attended WyoTech in Blairsville PA to further his automotive knowledge and abilities. It was there where Steve was formally introduced to the craft of Auto Upholstery, and where a new passion was born. After schooling, Steve moved to Charlotte North Carolina to pursue his love for auto upholstery and stitching custom interiors. He spent years learning, honing, and mastering techniques to set his work apart from others. After nearly a decade in the business, Steve decided to branch out, and open The Custom Stitching Co. CSC is where Steve is able to let his knowledge and experience aid his customers in creating outstanding pieces of upholstery. Steve’s passion for quality interiors knows no bounds, and it shows in all of his work.
