The Colony

You cannot beat this location!
So close to all of the shopping and dining in South park. There are tons of restaurants to walk to. The community itself is a pretty good mix of all different ages and occupations, people are generally friendly and the pool is always a fun time during the summer.
Some of the facilities (pool, tennis court, playground) are very well maintained while the basketball court and the «common use (let your dog run around in it) tennis court» could use a bit of TLC.
There are kids of all ages here, whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is totally dependent on your view of kids, I’m partial to dogs.
As far as pets they are very pet friendly here, just please be a good dog owner and clean up after your pet, if you don’t like picking up poo don’t buy a dog. They have bags and trash receptacles everywhere yet people still slack on the clean up. Not cool.
The staff, for both the office and maintenance are friendly and very responsive. They will be there 24hrs a day for an emergency.
Most importantly the price is right. You cannot find a place this convenient, in this good of a neighborhood, with as many floor plan options (1br, 2br, 2br townhouse, 3br townhouse) in this price range. True, it doesn’t have high-​end appointments, and stainless steel appliances, but why throw away more money on rent than you need to? The smart money in South Park is The Colony.
