Studio 6

It’s off the Interstate. Quick commute downtown and the lowest price in town.
Things that have to improve:
1) allowing dogs then people don’t clean behind them.
2) security in the lot at night.

Thank goodness for GPS, there is no signage on Exit 33 for the Studio 6. It’s down the same road as the Red Roof.
Staying in cheap hotels was so much easier when on tour with a band. This is definitely a sleeping only kind of place, a yes stains/​no bugs kind of place. Again the kind of place a band could stay if we couldn’t find a floor to sleep on. It would have been a 3 star review for functionality, but these rooms were extended stay with a kitchen. The sink was gross and I was actually scared to use the coffee maker.
There were some people hanging out around the back of the hotel, but a cop car passed by a couple of times to check out the exterior. This was slightly unnerving but only because it took 4 calls to the night staff to be able to check in.
I don’t think I’d stay here again on my own or with a band. I’d be too worried about our gear out in the van to sleep. Maybe choose a motel on the same road, closer to well lit areas.
