Specialties
Stratagemics Camps are week-long, strategy gaming summer day camps for kids ages 8 – 15. We play, teach, trade and compete in collectible card games like Magic and Yugioh; board games like Settlers of Catan and Small World; and miniatures games like Star Wars and HeroClix (no computer games). We also run charity family gaming events on the third Saturday of every month. We’ve run 43 camps over 8 years, and are usually filled with returning campers, as the camps are unique and very popular.
History
Established in 2006.
The idea for Stratagemics Strategy Gaming Camps came from three experiences: first, working on the staff of Math CAMMP at Providence Day School’s summer camps program; second, working on the staff of Charlotte Chess Academy’s summer chess camps, and finally, assisting with Strategy Gaming Club at Park Road Montessori school.
