We’re licensed & insured and our owner, Liz Carter, is an ASP (Accredited Staging Professional), Certified Decorator and former Real Estate Investor. History

Established in 2005.

Stage of Elegance Home Staging began when owner, Liz Carter, was a Real Estate investor who also did decorating.

Liz realized early on the real value in Home Staging. She was Staging her investment properties and not only were they selling in a matter of days but they were also raising the property values in the neighborhoods she worked in. That got her noticed by real estate agents. Soon she was staging homes full time!

Liz says, «We tried out a few different names before we finally settled on Stage of Elegance. We think it suits our company and our style. I believe every home can benefit from Home Staging. It’s a service that always gives an instant return on the investment»!

Liz Carter has been a home stager for over 9 years. She considers «Home Staging» to be the most rewarding job she has ever had.

Liz was born in Winston Salem, NC but moved to Charlotte before she was 2. She’s been there the rest of her life, so she considers herself a native. She has watched Charlotte grow and change a great deal over the years and says «Charlotte has everything I want from a big city but still has that warmth that you find in a small town».

As she tells everyone who will listen «I love it here and I would never live anywhere else»!
