Stephanie, has done our engagement, wedding, and now our maternity and family photographs. She does an amazing job and is so creative. What my husband and I loved this time was how great she was with our 1 and 2 year old. They are both very active and she was wonderful with them. She had so much patience with them and also was always ready to snap that perfect photo. I can honestly say we do not have one bad picture. Her prices are very reasonable too and in today’s economy that is very important! We love her work and would highly recommend her for any occasion!

My husband and I used ShutterBugChick as our photographer for our wedding, which was on the beach of Coronardo, and I have to say that it was a total delight… OMG, the picture that Stephanie took were Amazing and the poses that Stephanie put us in were Epic! We received our pictures back very quickly, and the prices are so reasonable. Stephanie’s Personality is totally unmatched, I can go on and on and on about the professionalism of Stephanie. Both my brother and father are photographers so I grew up loving the camera and learning what separates a hobbyist from a professional.

For starters, she instantly puts you at ease. A somewhat recent North Carolina transplant, Stephanie asked if I’d model for her so she could get familiar with downtown and all of the fantastic architecture just waiting to be incorporated into a portrait. Despite growing up in front of a camera, I found myself shy when there were people milling around (or perhaps it was the cognitive dissonance of being downtown in the daytime, fully sober). Stephanie kept me laughing the whole time and made me feel like a rock star (minus the drug and alcohol problems). She’s personable, professional, hilarious and bubbling with positive energy. And she’s not a diva about her work — you’re a partner during your time with her and suggestions are heartily embraced/​incorporated into the shoot.
Stephanie’s style can be described as «you, only better». She has a knack for positioning you in flattering poses (even if they feel awkward at the time) and her judicious use of Photoshop ensures you’ll recognize yourself when your photos are ready, sans that unwelcome blemish or gaping neckline. Having perused her portfolio, she has a special talent for the heartfelt: babies, children, couples, weddings, belly photos.
Her pricing is fair and more than competitive for both her photo sessions and special event offerings.
