Sam’s Mart 4

Sam’s Mart. Is this another business from Sam Walton? I really have no idea. But it is certainly possible, seeing how convenient they are, and how he would probably love how ubiquitous the stations are — I mean these places are everywhere (at least around here).
In the immediate vicinity of Charlotte — not counting Concord or Rock Hill or even further afield — there are something like 40 of them. If this is the child of Sam Walton, he would be proud. If it is not, he would be envious.
Regardless, Sam’s Mart makes for a fine gas station. In this particular case, they serve up Shell. I do not know if they all do, probably not having been to all 40 of them. In fact, I rarely go inside, since they do a lovely job of serving me right from the pump. This particular location has most excellent access as well. Love it.
