Sami & Co Salon and Nail Spa

Just wanted to update and say I’m still in love with this salon! The ladies and gentlemen who work here are some of the nicest most professional people I’ve ever met in this industry. The deluxe pedicure costing $ 40 beats the pants off the any pedicure you can get at the Ballantyne resort for $ 100+. To put them over the top you also get a hot stone massage after the regular massage *swoon I’m in heaven*
Also a point to mention their chair are the most comfortable especially as I’m a «plus size» woman. The massager is very thorough and they place a new plastic liner in the bowl for each new person and all the equipment is sterile. Love this place!

Well we are headed into the months when open toe shoes are a must and that means feet need some pampering after being cooped up in boots. I was cheerfully greeted and asked to pick a color. I chose a deep purple sparkle and was told that it would not be good because it was «metallic». I do not get my nails done often and had no idea but thanked her for the warning. I later found out that they need to put to heavy dark coats and most do not like it especially on their toes. So I chose a similar color better suited for my toes.
I liked that I was addressed by name. Jesse was great and engaged in conversation and simply made the whole experience wonderful. Even when she smudged my big toe while slipping on my flip flops, she did not get frustarted. Jesse took right to fixing it in a jiffy and giuded me over to the table dryer.
While receiving my pampering, there must have been 10 plus ladies walk in during this time. I looked around at the workers and not one appeared to be irritated. Everyone remained geniune, worked together and smiles all around. This tells me a lot about management and how they treat their employees. You could tell that these men and women enjoyed their job and provided superb service.
I highly recommend making an appointment but they also accept walk ins as well. This is a truly top notch place, upfront pricing and exceptional service. I will be back!!!

I was surrounded with the most excellent post surgical help, (brain tumor removal), that I could have ever imagined! I couldn’t have asked for more to rescue my fingers and toes. I will never forget this first time mani/​pedi experience.
They were beautiful, friendly, funny, humorous, & did a great & enjoyable job on my gnarly feet!
Kathy was funny, Helen was quiet, Jesse was sweet, & there’s a cute/​precious one there who has promised to give me her name once I return for my 2^nd visit.
I like all of them a lot!
I enjoyed their place & service so much that I bought a Mother’s Day mani/​pedi gift certificate for my wife. A 1^st time for me to ever get her a gift like this.

With a great Toenail Polish and having to decide on what color to choose, since they have tons to choose from. The tech at Sami & Co Salon. Did a wonderful job at shaping and giving a very clean look to my nails. I highly recommend.

Nice clean nail salon, massive selection of colors for both regular and shellac. I usually get the deluxe pedi wherever I go, these folks have several different scents which is nice. I have been here two times foe pedicure, the techs do a great job but they don’t massage as well as some other places, they also don’t exfoliate and callus remove as much but they are still pretty good. Haven’t done a mani yet because my nails are short from moving… hate to polish short nails. Everyone is very friendly here.

This place is amazing! They are very friendly and attentive and they avoid talking to each other while performing your service. My tech was Kathy, I was very impressed with her attention to detail and her effort in making sure I was relaxed and pampered. Her massage is phenomenal! My polish lasted a good 4 weeks on my toes! If you are looking for a clean and comfort environment with exceptional service, you have to try this place!

This is a one stop shop for me. I get my nails, hair and waxing all done here! They do a spectacular job and go out of their way to make you feel more comfortable. They are super cautious on sanitation. And the staff is extremely cordial. Everything there is just simply marvelous!

I love that they don’t rush you. They take their time helping you select a color and ensure you are happy with it. Probably one of the cleanest nail places I’ve ever seen. Gave 4 stars because the polish job isn’t the best I’ve had.

This review is for 3 different visits over a 6 month period. The 1^st 2 were strictly for pedi’s by myself & the 3^rd was for a full set & pedi for me while my son, 7yr old niece & my sister got pedi’s (so party of 4)…
The last visit was the 2^nd time Don worked on me (he did my fingers the 2^nd time).
Each visit, I’ve popped in without an appointment and been able to immediately be helped, even the 3^rd time where there was 4 of us (& because we were all getting pedi’s at the same time, Don accommodated me by doing my fingers at the same time)… they gave one of the biggest nail color selections I’ve ever seen (& that’s with me having taught & worked in salons!) From regular polish to gel polishes, seriously, their selection is highly impressive. They have water, soda & wine to offer while you’re being worked on too and I usually don’t care about the «pedi thrones» but theirs are super CLEAN & THE MOST COMFORTABLE EVER. They use bowl lines in the Pedi bowls and I love those (for sanitation purposes). All of our pedi’s have been amazing & my nails were BEAUTIFUL! Their polish work on fingers and toes is top notch as well, super clean lines! This is now my go-​to for fingers & toes.
Going to add, they’ve got some great products for retail in their seating area, including Morrocan Oil, which I LOVE!

The staff here is amazing, very friendly and welcoming. I love the way my gel nails always turn out and the pedicures are so relaxing. Very clean environment especially the pedicure chairs. Reasonable prices for individual treatment or combo services.

My husband and I had such an awesome experience when we came here! I went for a manicure and predicure by Don I think his name was who did an awesome job. My husband went for a pedicure and hair cut and loved it. We both left feeling refreshed and happy with the service :) we will definitely be back

I just moved to Charlotte and was looking for a new salon for my monthly pedicures! I saw this salon just driving near the grocery store of Tryon in Steele Creeke! As soon as I walked in I was greeted nicely and told to pick a color and was sat in a chair! The best part; each bowl bad a plastic lining so only my feet have been in there! I have never seen this and it’s amazing! You hear horror stories about fungus-​ick! They always use a new package of tools for you! Straight out of the pack! And gloves!
They offered me something to drink multiple times and had the chair ready to go with the massage control:) they have an option to have a standard pedi or the luxury! I’ve done both but the standard is all that you really need! You still get a great massage and lotion and your feet pampered!
I highly recommend them! Remember to bring cash for a tip though! They’ll take credit card but I could tell they prefer cash!

Loved this place. Came with my sister in laws to get gel manicures, and the staff was very friendly. They did an excellent job. I’ll definitely be back.

This place was great! Three of us went and everyone was so nice! They did a wonderful job on our pedicures and I will definitely be back. And for the person who complains in their review about her daughters hair cut. I was there when her and her husband were giving them a hard time. You can’t get a haircut then come back two weeks later and complain. It’s like eating your entire meal and expecting your money back. I most definitely recommend Sami and co!!! :)

What a wonderful salon in the SW Charlotte area. This was a hidden gem, I am so happy to have uncovered. The manicurist Kathy was great. I felt so relaxed and was even given a glass of wine to help the process! My experience was a great one, especially since I am so picky and haven’t found a great place in this area! They have a huge polish collection and even more gel colors that you could imagine. Try them out and You will not be disappointed!

Do not come to Sami & Co. for a haircut especially if you have ethnic hair. I took my daughter for a trim and «Jessie» did a terrible job. The hair is now uneven and boxy. They refused to refund our money and could not guarantee they could fix it. The manager told us that we should go to another salon being that my daughter’s hair is of curly texture. I wish they would have been honest at the beginning and admitted that they didn’t know how to handle curls. I would have respected that and walked out. They seem to be wonderful for a mani/​pedi but definitely not experienced for haircuts/​hairstyling.

I absolutely love this nail salon and I’m so glad to have them so close by! One of the most cleanest salons I’ve ever been to and that’s what I love about them! They are big on sanitary practices so I don’t mind paying a few extra dollars for it. I’ve been here at least 3 to 4 times now and have always left very happy with the services provided here. I’ve had a rotation of just about all of the staff that works there and they are all very friendly. I don’t have my nails done on a regular basis but when i do they are definitely my only go to nail salon now. Check them out if you haven’t already because you are definitely missing out a great nail salon.
