Rover.com – Dog Boarding & Sitting

My dog, Petey, had a wonderful dog boarding experience with his Rover sitter, Hannah S. She was very sweet when we met her at the first Meet & Greet and she sent us multiple photos and updates throughout the day when Petey stayed with her for the weekend. That made us feel so confident that Petey was having a great time! She was also quick to ask questions if she noticed any concerns (Petey doesn’t sleep or eat well away from home). I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with knowing your pet sitter is insured through Rover and that there are multiple ways to contact your pet sitter throughout the stay. Only trouble I’ve had since our first experience is that my pet sitter is busy every time we need care! But considering these dog sitters usually have other jobs and family/​friends of their own I guess that’s understandable. Hope to use Rover sister Hannah again in the future! Thanks Rover!

I use Rover both to find a sitter for my dog and to offer my services as a dog sitter. Both experiences have been great. The website makes dog boarding so easy to find a nearby sitter for my dog for both last minute and planned trips. Rover is cheaper than a traditional boarder and I know my dog will get a ton of personal attention and great care when he’s with a Rover sitter. It’s a great way for me as a dog boarder to earn some extra cash and for my dog to have a temporary playmate. A lot of the info I need is already in the dog’s profile so it’s easy to coordinate on both ends.
