My husband and I are not fashionable people. But he needed a suit a suit for a charity event the next day (of course he waited till the last minute). The staff at Revolve was wonderful! She offered us wine or water and showed us to one of the rooms in this old house turned shop with the suits. She was then able to eyeball my husband’s measurements and showed us which section to look at. She checked in on us… not in a hovering kind of way… but in a friendly and helpful way. Fortunately, we found the perfect one amongst their large selection. It was cheaper than I expected and fit him perfectly. Great place! Hope we need to get another suit soon!

I took a lot of items to Revolve to sell and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Sure, I could have tried to get a little more money for the items, but splitting the proceeds with the owner was certainly reasonable for the service she provides. She markets the clothes, keeps her shop clean, bright, and inviting and actively works with her clientele to find the items new owners. The onus is on me to check in once a month and pick up my share of what sells: this is certainly reasonable. Once the items that don’t sell phase out (3 months from drop-​off date), it’s up to me to follow up and pick up what’s left or else it gets donated. This is certainly reasonable as well. In order to drop items off you need to set up an appointment, which is a courtesy I myself expect for others’ requests of my time, so this is certainly most reasonable. Overall, this is a great way to find new homes for my old designer items AND make a little extra cash in the process. Love Revolve!

I sold a few items and I won’t be back. A couple of things to note:
1. You have no idea what price the owner will sell your stuff for. I dropped off expensive items that were apparently sold for 10−20% of their retail value.
2. You get less than half of the proceeds.
3. The owner will take your stuff to goodwill after 90 days without even calling you. Or she may not, you really have no idea what will happen once you drop off your stuff.
4. The process of getting your proceeds from the store is done on a monthly cycle. It really makes no sense. If they sell something of yours you can’t get paid until after the 15^th of the following month.
5. When you try to drop off clothes, the owner tells you that she is busy and you will need to make an appointment… Even though the store has been empty every time I’ve been there.
When I tried to call in over the course of the 4 months I had my stuff on consignment, the owner would tell me to call back each time after the 15^th of the following month. I don’t know what retail management system she is using, but it seems like it’s from the 80s… Makes no sense. When I finally went in to pick up my stuff and final check, the owner told me that she had gotten rid of my stuff 2 weeks earlier… She was very rude when I questioned her business practices. At one point she yelled, «This is my business, and I will run it the way I want to!» But then she went into her back room and came back with 2 of my original items.
In the future I will just give my clothes to goodwill or people in need. Dealing with this store was just an unpleasant experience and certainly not worth it.

Do I need recycled designer clothes for men? Nope. Is this place awesome? Uh, yeah.
Such a cute little store conveniently located on East Blvd. Shirts, suits, jeans, shoes, accessories. Fellas, here’s your place to find upscale fashion… without paying designer prices.
Owner Amy is an absolute doll. She’s so nice and will put a smile on anyone’s face. Heck, I almost bought something because she’s that captivating. But then I snapped out it and realized, oh yeah I don’t need a man’s pocket square.
Stop in often to check out new arrivals and be on the look out for sales. Bonus: make sure to check in on Unilocal for a discount.

I recently took off 37 pounds and 17 inches and can finally fit into designer brands! WHOOHOO! I was out shopping for new clothing and I passed this place and had to turn around. She had a Zenga Suit out on a manequin! My kind of place.
I went in and looked around and was greeted by the owner and offered a beverage.
I was only expecting to do a recon of the place as I was planning on bringing a good friend back (my stylist) to help me pick out clothing when I spotted the briefcase that I had been looking for but couldn’t seem to pull the trigger on as it was upwards of $ 350. The price at REVOLVE was $ 39.99. SOLD!
I came back the next day with my stylist in tow and she found a 3 button bespoke quality suit with fabric made exclusively for Ermenegildo Zenga for less than $ 200. DONE!

This is a cool store in a great house in Dilworth! If stores could be Married this is the Husband of Monarch. Revolve is the store of clothes for the guys. The prices may shock you (though still a fraction of what you could get these styles on sale racks) for recycled clothing though it is all in great condition and it is only the styles that they know will sell!
The ladies working here are very friendly and helpful. If they can handle me you’ll be just fine here!

SCORE!!! Today I proved to dear Hubs that Unilocal and Unilocaling in general is awesome and benefits from «checking in» (which sometimes irritates him when he’s with me) will pay off.
While casually shopping in Dilworth for myself with Hubs by my side, he briefly mentioned that he wished he could buy a pair of True Religions at a decent price. «Oh but you CAN my Hubs… you CAN». I took him to Revolve. I’ve NEVER been, and he’s definitely never been, but I just KNEW from some of the reviews I’ve read that this place wouldn’t disappoint. Even if he didn’t find a pair, I knew that he would see that this place had to potential to eventually have a pair.
Before I could put my hand on the doorknob, the front door flew open and we were greeted with a «HELLO AND COME IN». Don’t mind if I do!!! We asked were the Revolve section was and we were pointed in the right direction. Skeptical Hubs slowly walked the store… then his pace started to pick up… then his face lit up with a «hey…this sweater is only $ 30?!» I grin and say nothing. Then… like a light from heaven shone down from above… he spotted a True Religion tag… he slowly pulled it out and his mouth hit the floor. I giggled and just said «try it on before you pee in your pants» He tried it on and they fit. Price tag…$ 80. Oh but not so fast… since I checked in… I received a 10% discount just for checking in. Hubs was like «are you serious?! » Oh yes… I don’t play when it comes to discounts. We walked up to the register and handed the owner the jeans and I smiled and showed her my %10 check in discount and SHE SQUEALED. «You are the first person that has used that!!! I’m so happy!!» HUH!!! WAHOOO!
So needless to say. we had a good experience. I love this place. Everything is good quality stuff and well priced. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and the store is oh so shabby chic. Hubs has now been converted. Walking back to the car he asked what else I could check into and get a discount. SMH… if he only knew…

While I really love shopping for myself (I know, selfish)…I also enjoy shopping for others, especially my dear husband. In comes Revolve!
With oodles of upscale, consigned shoes, shots, shirts, ties and accessories this place is a whole new kind of man cave. The owner, Amy, is extraordinarily sweet and welcoming and is always present to help you find what you’re looking for!
Obviously the brands change often but I saw everything from Zegna to Banana Republic, Etro, Taylor Bird and plenty of brands in between. Sales happen often, so there’s always a good chance of taking home a solid score. Be sure to check out the array of shoes and accessories too… there’s a sweet Michael Kors watch there just waiting for a manly wrist!

OK, sometimes it’s not all about the money. Sometimes you really want a clean, curated selection and you find that at Revolve Charlotte. It’s an upscale men’s consignment shop, but how many of us refashion menswear for a sexy and unique look? I know I do!

AWESOME. As a fashion photographer, I love working with vintage boutiques. Charlotte’s got a couple that are great for women (Hong Kong comes to mind), or are only good for that sort of hipster. thrift-​store dont-​give-​a-​$#!+ vibe with what little if any men’s stuff they have. So I was ECSTATIC when I discovered Revolve and Amy. At last, well curated vintage men’s apparel!!!
Stylist Joey Hewell and I featured clothes from the store in one of our editorial fashion spreads at SEEN Uptown Magazine – we just found so much there to use. I totally recommend Revolve to guys who want fashion-​forward vintage pieces in the wardrobe.

Revolve is an awesome place and one of very few Mens consignment shops on the east coast. They have amazing brands that are very hard to find. I recently bought a Canali suit and a pair of Rock & Republic jeans for an unbeatable price. Whether youre looking for dress shirts, t– shirts, jeans, suits or shoes, I would highly recommend Revolve to anyone!

Cool concept. Unfortunately nothing fit me. Also there was a ½ off sale the day I went which made prices reasonable. I don’t think I would pay the tag price for anything I saw.
