Since 1993, RDR Insurance Services has provided commerical insurance products and services to clients in all sectors of the marketplace. We understand each client is unique. It is our goal to educate insurance prospects and clients alike about the potential risks for loss unique to them individually, and the products and services available to protect them from financial loss. Based in Charlotte, NC, our group of insurance professionals specialize in truck insurance, environmental insurance, workers’ compensation, and commercial insurance for businesses of any size.

Meet the Business Owner

Ralph R.

Business Owner

Ralph Royster has over 40 years of insurance and risk management experience. Ralph founded RDR Insurance Services in 1993 where he still serves as CEO. He graduated from East Carolina University in 1960 and spent sixteen years with a large property & casualty insurance company as a producing agent and regional manager. He then joined a National MGA as Vice President of Marketing. After relocating to Charlotte, NC in 1991, Ralph invested in a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and insurance agency and began to establish relationships with various brokers and insurance carriers. He served as President of Transportation for a large MGA before founding RDR in 1993. Ralph has previously owned and managed a workers’ compensation captive. Ralph has been active with several trucking associations and has served on several boards. He has earned numerous insurance certifications including the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and (CPIA).
