SAVE YOURSELVES and your cash and go elsewhere. Seriously… I opted for this place after purchasing a Groupon… I would say «you get what you paid for», but with this place, even at the groupon rate, YOU PAID TO MUCH in comparison to the level or service you get.
The groupon clearly read, Gel MANICURE, when I got there, it was far from it. When you think manicure, you think of getting your nails trimmed, buffed, cuticles soaked and trimmed, your polish of choice and that delightful hand massage at the end… NOPE, NOT HERE… I got in, my nails were filed way too short for my taste (I was never asked if they were too short) buffed way too hard (complained once) and before I knew it, the polish was coming on… no washing off the dust from the buff. NOTHING. at the moment, I was like «wait a minute, can I at least wash my hands or get my cuticles done»? The «manicurist» then proceeded to tell me that «this service was NOT included in the groupon, it was basically just a polish change», according to the «manicurist» this was what was agreed upon with groupon, and as far as me washing my hands to remove the dust from the buff, it wasn’t needed because” this is the way she was taught” (Insert my look of shock here). All the complaints were running though my head, but I thought, why unload on such a nice girl, who after all was only following orders given to her. Besides it was late and the area was very questionable and I wanted to get out before my car was stripped for parts.
Not even 24hrs later my gel polish that is meant to hold for 10 days, was now chipping… SHOCKER! I called the next day and talked to Porsha (the manager)… and then it all made sense, this ignorant rude person was the one running the show… she excused herself by saying that «This is what was agreed on by Groupon» and as far as my manicure chipping, no apologies, all I got was «I don’t know what you did after you left our salon». Really? Learn from my experience, support salons that give a damn about their customers and let places like this just disappear… TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE !
