Meet the Business Owner

Marybeth and Barry M.

Business Owner

Marybeth and Barry Mahal are the owners of Primrose School of Lake Wylie at Steele Creek. We have been married for 28 years and have three daughters. Barry is a child safety specialist and has played an integral role in the design and development of some of the best car seats in the market. He has also been involved with many different rescue teams (fire, medical, dive), is a ham radio operator, and is very involved with his family. He has an engineering degree from Purdue University and an MBA from Grand Valley State University in Michigan. My background is in Retail Management, and I have my degree from Purdue University. I’ve also worked as a teacher and spent many hours volunteering at my daughters’ schools. I enjoy working with our staff and current families in such a high-​quality educational setting, and I am sure you will be as amazed as I am at how much our students develop in their time at Primrose!
