Pizza on Earth is an interesting place. Set in someones back yard with limited hours (one or two nights a week). The pizza is cooked in a wood fired oven and they have a changing menu with new specials every week. I had heard great reviews but never thought of it on the right night. We finally remembered one night last fall and checked out the specials on their webpage. I cant remember the two other pizzas we got, but the potato, bacon, scallion and sour cream one was excellent! A creative topping, but really tasted great.
There are some picnic tables outside that would be nice in the summer, but seating is minimal. We took it to go and had a 10 minute drive home. Unfortunately with the crust being so thin the pizza was hardly warm when we got home. I would suggest eating it on site if you have the chance as thin crust can get awful rubbery when cold. Overall though the pizza was excellent and a nice change from the usual good times or papa nicks in Hinesburg…
