Memories are made here! Bring a friend, your family, or a date and you will each leave delighted. Stand Up Paddle Boarding is the fastest growing recreational activity in the USA today. Not only is it great fun, but it also improves circulation, endurance, and balance while engaging every muscle in the body. I wish to take people out of their comfort zones and allow them to explore, escape and rejuvenate with Paddle 2 Paradise!
We offer a variety of options: 1 hour lesson, 2 hour lesson and splash time or stay and play for 3 hours with a picnic as well. We are flexible in our thinking and want to fulfill your dreams. Please ask if you want to do something outside the box — we love forward thinking.
No matter what your reason for doing stand-up paddle boarding is, I look forward to meeting you. It is my goal to pamper you like royalty with a taste of Paradise and I wish to impress you above and beyond your expectations leaving you smiling from Ear 2 Ear.
History
Established in 2014.
Paddle 2 Paradise is a dream come true. It is a calling — life is too short not to smile and as a family, we have a lot to smile about.
Water has always been and continues to be a large part of our lives. I enjoy the ocean breeze, sand between my feet and the residue of salt on my tanned skin.
I met and married my husband in 1999. I started practicing yoga at the Lake Norman YMCA and then trained to be a Registered Yoga Teacher; I subsequently earned my E-RYT.
On our first trip to Hawaii is where my husband and I learned to SUP and I quickly took to my board. My guide saw my smile and said, «You need to go home and do this as a business. You need to teach SUP and SUP yoga.» Was he an angel on Earth? Why would he say such a thing? Truth be told, I think I was meant to hear those words.
I began to think seriously about the business and, with that intent, I traveled to Florida for SUP Guide and SUP Yoga training several months later.

I met and married my husband in 1999; We then added a couple of kids: a biological son in 2002 and an adopted Guatemalan daughter in 2006.
In 2009, my husband became ill and had to go on dialysis and was put on the organ transplant list for both a kidney and liver. While he was sick I saw my first stand-up paddle boarders; the thought of walking on water was something I aspired to do. I told my husband, «When you are healthy we need to SUP.» In the fall of 2009, he was he was blessed with a successful kidney and liver transplant. We thank everyone for their prayers — they worked!
