History

Established in 2005.

Open Door Studios was established in 2005 by Jacqueline White, with the help of a small team of talented and knowledgable dance educators. Recognizing the need for a studio catering to both youth and adult students, Jacque opened ODS with the intention of filling that gap in the Charlotte dance community. Since then Open Door Studios has grown steadily into a center for dance and fitness, offering classes and workshops for young and young-at-heart students alike. ODS has produced several main stage performances including «Grinch» and «Peter and the Wolf» and continues to serve as a welcoming setting for artistic expression and technique for dancers of all ages.
