Specialties

Musicians In Motion offers studio and In-Home lessons in South Charlotte and surrounding areas. It offers piano lessons, guitar lessons, violin lessons, voice lessons, banjo lessons, and mandolin lessons.

History

Established in 2007.

Owner David Lebel moved to Charlotte and began teaching full time music lessons in his home and his students’ homes. It wasn’t long before he realized there was a real demand for in-home lessons, so he decided to create a company that specializes in that. It would be a local company that understands the needs of each family and accomodates them in every way possible. In 2010, Musicians In Motion opened a brick and mortor location in South Charlotte to cater to those interested in having lessons in a studio. Currently, the studio sees over 100 students each week.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Music is something that affects each an every one of us, and even if we don’t all become professional musicians, their is a hightened level of appreciation for music in general after having played an instrument. David teaches the suzuki method which emphasizes ear training (something many musicians lack) along with the normal theory that must be taught. Imagine being able to play by ear or by music! It’s simple yet effective in bringing years of musical enjoyment! You never know… you might become the next Itzhak Perlman! David also believe firmly in training my students how to practice effectively in order to progress as quickly as possible.

David graduated five years ago with BA’s in Music and Theology, and proceeded to get my Masters in Theology. While in undergraduate school, I took lessons from Robert Koff, a renowned violinist in his time and one of the founding members of the Juilliard String Quartet.
