History

Established in 2000.

Mr. Inspection found its beginning under Walter O’Connor as a family-​owned inspection station. In 2001 Walter’s brother, Rick took over and started the journey into the repair side of auto care. Bringing in some quality technicians and stocking up on repair equipment soon lead to a strong enough demand to expand our repair shop to the space adjacent to our lobby. Now with Rick’s son Scott at the wheel and a great staff of certified mechanics, Mr. Inspection can safely be called a complete auto care center, all the while, keeping our roots to fast inspections and speedy oil changes.

Meet the Manager

Scott O.

Manager

Born in raised in Buffalo, NY, Scott always had a passion for the automobile market. Working for several dealerships in NY, Scott loved the work he did, but also knew it was not a good career choice at that time. He pursued his education in the business marketing field and soon transferred to UNCC to complete his degree in marketing. Seeing the opportunity to have the best of both worlds, he took over ownership of Mr. Inspection using his education to handle the business and his passion for auto repair to handle everything else. Over the years, his knowledge for auto repair has increased greatly. Scott attends continuing education seminars with his technicians to make sure they are up to date with the latest vehicles and advancing technologies. Scott strives to achieve the highest standard of automotive integrity by exceeding his customers’ expectations and providing outstanding customer service.
