When I lived down in south Charlotte, I was a frequent visitor to this shopping center but now I only go for specific purpose.
Unfortunately today’s purpose was misguided. There used to be a Lebo’s here but like many retail places, it has come and gone. Bummer.
But the center still has Rugged Wear, Burlington Coat Factory, Dollar Tree, Hobbytown USA, several restaurants and Jenny Craig, a Chilis and Waffle House and a few other stores.
Personally I think the shopping center had better days when Winn Dixie and Uptons were there (am I dating myself?) but such is the life of retail. Stores come and go and shopping centers are constantly trying to reinvent themselves.

This shopping center has been here for quite a while. It’s sort of a spread out shopping center and pretty dated in it’s layout and design. The major store here is the Burlington Coat Factory. In additon, you will find Wallerbears, a tobacco shop, a used bookstore, Lebos, Rugged Wearhouse, a dollar store, Staples, a hair salon, and a few restaurants. There is also a car inspection place up by the Chili’s next to Hwy 51.
