This used to be a Texaco station with a crappy little Texaco convenience store, but since the gas station changed to Marathon the store has become a Kangaroo Express. The makeover necessarily improves the store, as it is now clean and refurbished. But the real test will be how this reincarnation survives the ravages of time on North Tryon.
